with the story. good afternoon, andy. andy: authorities say the call came in 8:00 this morning from the woman who said she was being held against her will. she also reported she had been assaulted during the night. police responded to the residence at 223 weirs boulevard, where they say they were able to keep the woman on the phone and authorities say they activated the swat team and set up a perimeter. contact with the main inside but were unsuccessful. officials say they were told the men inside may have a shotgun another weapons like swords and knives. police say after about 2 hours, the man came outside and was taken into custody after being tased. >> at this time he is being charged with domestic assault and criminal restraint. andy: police have identified the suspect as james cunningham.

court tomorrow. andy hershberger, wmur news 9. sean: a woman spent the night trapped inside her car after it rolled over last night on route 27 in epping and came to rest against some trees. it wasn't until this morning somebody discovered it. wmur's ray brewer is live outside the epping fire department, with more on the rescue. good afternoon, ray. ray: good afternoon, sean. the fire department telling us that the woman wasrt this morning. the car went off the road on route 27 in epping, near new england dragway. the fire chief says that the car was about 75 feet off the road, just far enough so that headlights wouldn't pick up any reflection. the fire chief says it appears the woman rolled the car at about 10:00 last night, and the car wasn't spotted until the sun came up around 6:30 in the morning. after at least eight hours trapped in the car the woman was cold, and getting her out was

>> she was trapped inside so after we cut her out they removed her through the roof and on a backboard. ray: she was taken to the hospital. there is no on her condition, but again the fire chief says she was alert and conscious when they arrived. reporting live in epping, ray brewer, wmur news 9. sean: all right, thanks. a seabrook woman remains in jail after allegedly striking an epping officer with her truck. police say that pamela reynolds was upset that verizon wouldn't give her an upgrade to her phone and was asked to leave the store. police say she an officer in the elbow. she was arrested and taken to the jail where she allegedly told the officers they deserved to be shot. new at noon, manchester police are investigating a stabbing. police say the 18-year-old victim entered the elliot hospital for a serious stab wound just before 7:30 last night. the victim told police he had

union streets when he was stabbed. it's unclear if police have a suspect. the victim is expected to be ok. testimony continues today in the trial of a strafford man accused of stabbing and biting another person. prosecutors say 52-year-old kevin hinrichsen spotted his daughter and her ex-boyfriend together in northwood last year despite a restraining order. the state says that's when hinrichson yelled and attacked. but hinrichson's laywer says the ex-boyfriend actually attacked was the boyfriend's. new this noon, the dea has and manchester the city nationwide with a program to fight the kobe at epidemic. it is called the 360 degree strategy. jennifer crompton explains what it will mean for the queen city. jennifer: the dea and at this

11:00 this morning and minor expected flooding with the king tied along the coast. live shot from hampton beach. 52 degrees. not a tremendous amount of wave action with this. could have been worse as you have a breeze offshore to know huge strong storm system offshore. for the time being, we have clouds continuing to fill in across the southern half of the state. a couple of light showers temperatures in the lower half of the 50's. clouds will continue to win out through the remainder of the afternoon. you can see the rainfall on the north step already starting to see these show activity in the monadnock region. all this progressing northward through the afternoon. pretty good wall of water through seven parts of new
