school. a lot of kids and families in this area. eleven street was shut down for a time. crews were busy for about 1.5 hours but they are starting to step up. they focused a lot of attention on the roof of number 17. there are about four housing units. they suffered a majority of the damage. the call came in before 5:30. firefighters were able tt to contain the bulk of the fire to that number 17. the adjoining units did suffer smoke and water damage. they believe that the fire started somewhere in the walls. luckily, no one was inside at the time. we spoke with the deputy chief about what may have caused the fire. >> they had an ongoing plumbing issue. we're looking at possibly plumbing as the cause. is under investigation.

of these units will be able to get back inside. number 17 did suffer pretty extensive fire damage. one firefighter was taken to the hospital for minor injuries. we are not sure what happened but the deputy chief says he was taken to a local hospital to be treated tonight. i am siobhan lopez. >> switching gears to the weather. closer to the granite state. in a few hours some in new hampshire could see snow. it looks like our mild stretch is coming to an end. hayley: today was beautiful. bright, sunny temperatures in the 60's. well above the seasonable averages. there are big changes coming our way in the next 24 hours.

see clouds, even rain, and snow by syracuse new york. that is a sharp cold front moving across central new york. eventually that will move into new england, bringing with it the chance for showers, flurries. mainly the snow will be in the higher elevations. the biggest thing you will notice tomorrow is the colder air. we are at 47 in tomorrow, we don't recover much. only about 43 in concord, 45 in manchester with gusty wind out of the west and also the threat of scattered showers and snow. i will show you who could expect snow and how much in a few minutes. >> after showing success in manchester, the nashua fire department is equipped with a safe station.

evaluated and sent to a recovery center, less than 48 hours after nashua installed the program. the first client locked in looking for help. fire officials say the men came in with his father around 9:30. within 15 minutes he was evaluated and onto his way to a recovery program. >> we want people to feel they can come and for the help they need and feel like human beings. >> firefighters say that in nashua were seven fatal overdoses in september and october and this month there have been four. they want the public to know the program is up and running and ready to help. former massachusetts governor mitt romney met with president-elect trump today. they had an hour-long meeting with trump. and his golf course.

clouds to the west. will only have clear skies for a couple hours. we will have a couple systems that play for the next couple days, bringing in a drastically different air mass. much cooler air is on the way for us. it will feel like november, even below average temperatures for november. high temperatures we have had in the place for today which keeps the skies clear. that getting moved toward the east. it's a strong low-pressure system moving indicating rain and lots of s now. some of this is lake enhanced snow. northern michigan is coming away with a few inches, maybe even a foot of snow. eventually this will move to the east and even more lake-effect snow will impact the plateau or the syracuse area with close to a foot of snow there through the
