mountain. what about the travel for thanksgiving day? josh is here with a look at that, black friday weather and all the weekend details coming up. josh: that's a lot to ask for, mike, but i've got the answers. let's get right to it. first i wanted to show you past thanksgivings. you probably remember two years ago the day before thanksgiving in 2014. we saw as much as a foot or more of snow in parts of new hampshire. but do y how about 2005, where we had three to six inches in southern new hampshire and more in some locations out there. if you remember that one, here's a tougher one for you. 1989, the storm was largely in southern new hampshire and southern new england. this was the macy's day thanksgiving parade and some big amounts of up to a foot in places like cape cod and one more for you, back the 1971,
6:17 pm
temperatures were cold enough for lots of snow. and as much as a foot to a foot and a half. will that be the case this year? not at all. but we do have a little bit of dicey weather to get through over the next few days. with temperatures right now in the upper 20's to low and mid 30's around the granite state. couple of games tonight and tomorrow. so let's talk about those, first of all, tonight in nashua, north versus south. 35 degrees right now, and the skies arear at the stadium at 10:30 in the morning, also about 35 degrees when the game gets they are way there in manchester. skies are mainly clear right now and will largely remain clear with a few clouds here and there for a time this evening. but you can clearly see what's to our west here, rain and snow marching this way, and notice this little finger of it right here, that is what's going to move in tomorrow when it's still
6:18 pm
day tomorrow, any time from the morning on. however, i don't think it amounts to all that much. the second batch of it, though, that's with a really will affect us a lot more. but it will be warm enough that a lot of us will see that as rain. here's future cast showing that exact thing happening as the skies are clear for a while this evening, then overnight into tomorrow morning, clouding up and notice just little bits of snow a possibility really any time from 7:00 or 8:00 on in the morning. but this should not really all. and a lot of places will stay dry for much of the day. then late afternoon or probably after sun set when we see more precipitation breaking out, could be mixed precipitation, rain in southern new hampshire, and snow from concord north and west. southern new hampshire could have a few flakes that mix in as well. off and on again as the warming line pushes north as we go
6:19 pm
night into friday. friday, off and on rain showers. but in the mountains it could stay a wintery mix right through friday and into saturday as well. so in just keeps going and going, saturday winding down a little bit. by the time you get to sunday it's just mountain flurries. any precipitation that comes early tomorrow morning will be in the form of snow. but temperatures warm up above 32 as you can see here, mid to upper forecast, it will be milder with scattered mostly rain showers. but a couple of snow flurries or showers possible in the mountains. more of the same on saturday. then sunday it's just mountain snow showers and milder weather could be around next week. >> a live look at the nashua turkey bowl going on in the gate city, it's north and south.
