393. low visibility in that area. keep that in mind. 93 south slow going. the temperatures dropping to 31 degrees so take it easy and it is foggy through the hooksett tolls. general's office is now investigating a total of four homicides in new hampshire in just the last week. erin: last wednesday a man was killed in wentworth. on sunday a little girl from berlin died. monday a man was shot in effingham and then another man was shot and killed yesterday in manchester. wmur's ray brewer joins us now live from the attorney general's office in concord with details on the situation in effingham.

officials with the attorney general's office say that 63-year-old robert dishman died at the hospital on monday from a single gunshot wound to the chest. investigators say there was some sort of incident around 11:00 monday morning. dishman was rushed to dartmouth hitchcock medical center but he passed away and his death was ruled a homicide. it is not clear right now if that incident happened at dishman's home but we spoke with a neighbor who says a man named bob does live at that address . he was surprised to learn what happened. >> that is crazy. i don't know. i've heard him yell a few times but i don't know what it's about. i heard commotion but i didn't think much of it. ray: so far no arrests have been made in this case but investigators say they do not believe there is any threat to the public.

reporting live at the attorney general's office in concord ray brewer wmur news 9. sean: in manchester , investigators say 51-year-old robert shatney died inside his thornton street apartment yesterday morning from a gunshot wound to his chest. his death has been ruled a homicide. police were called to the area just after midnight tuesday morning for a report of shots and shatney's daughter says. she still can't believe her father is dead. >> it's a horrible situation. my dad was a loving, caring guy, did favors for anybody. never knew how to say no. he wore his heart on his sleeve. sean: police spent all day yesterday gathering evidence and they are urging residents in the area to be on alert. and to lock their doors and report anything that seems unusual or out of place. erin: the owners of a vape shop

the suspect wearing a mask and gloves was seen on surveillance video inside the great northern woods vape shop early yesterday morning. police say more than $5,000 worth of merchandise was taken including 40 vaporizers. the burglar cut the wires to the alarm and then got in through a bulkhead and the basement. they even shut off the cameras after 13 minutes inside. >> gut-wrenching heartache. this is something that we've worked so hard for, for so long. replace the stolen items and they are hoping someone will recognize the person in the video. sean: tens of thousands of people are paying their respects to longtime cuban dictator fidel castro and tributes stretched long into the night last night and today a caravan carrying his remains begins its journey across the country, before he is buried this weekend. abc's marci gonzalez is in havana this morning following

now, the memorial is continuing as a caravan carrying castro's ashes begins its trek across across the country, ahead of a private funeral on sunday. sean: at home, investigators now say a loon that died over the summer was shocked. the adult loon was found on bradley lake in andover back in august. the loon preservation committee says recent investigation show that the bird died after b shot in the wing. loons are a threatened species in new hampshire but two thirds of adult loon deaths are caused by humans. erin: there is a new proposal to use drones to monitor high crime neighborhoods in one massachusetts city but that idea isn't flying with some people. police in new bedford already have two drones. for the most part they are used for search and rescue or swat missions but one city councilor says drones could help deter crime if deployed more extensively.
