john yang, thank you. john henry is a former assistant of the fbi and nbc news analyst. good morning to you. >> good morning. >> it sounds like the manhunt began uickly after the shooting happened. do you think it is likely that the suspects are still in this general area? >> we're not sure. there is an opportunity to get onto the interstate there. whether they are holed up in a residence in some nearby ilding tsere or whether they are able to get out t m take off and evade the police before they can set up a perimeter is unclear. this likely happened unannounced. this was not premeditated. butrobaely they didn't have money, food or water. they need to et the basic necessities. they have to l ook for them somewhere. we'll rely on the community to recognize these people, taking some efforts to obtain resources. >> we know little about them

kim davis was ordered to appear in court on thursday. she could face jail time or fines. >> president obama wraps up his three-day tour of alaska today. the president used the trip to highlight the harmful effects of climate change on alaska's delicate landscape. now to an arrest three decades in the making. on tuesday, pro wrestling legend jimmy "superfly" snuka was arraigned in a decades old murder of his girlfriend. craig melvin has the story. >> jimmy snuka is out of jail on bond. this arrest comes two years after two journalists started digging on a cold case so old when the death in question happened one of the journalists hadn't been born yet. >> all we have to do is right in there. >> reporter: his fans know him simply as "superfly." >> "superfly" is 15 feet high!

>> reporter: jimmy snuka entertained for decades with his signature flair and high flying flash. now a cold case dating back more than 40 years revived. the pro wrestling legend charged with murder. prosecutors say in 1983 while on tour with the then world wrestling federation snuka called for medical help from a pennsylvania motel. his 23-year-old girlfriend nancy argentina was gasping for air and oozing from the mouth. she died at a local hospital. an autopsy found skull fractures and 39 contusions across her body. at the time snuka was the only person of interest but was never charged. that changed tuesday. the district attorney charged him with third degree murder and involuntary manslaughter. >> some additional witnesses came forward. more information was uncovered. mr. snuka wrote a book that the grand jury considered in making the presentment.

>> reporter: 30 years after her death, two journalists triggered interest with a feature that the d.a. had with a renewed investigation. >> when i started working on the story, i never thought there would be charges against jimmy snuka. as we kept working on the story i thought the case became more compelling that maybe they might take a second look. >> reporter: worldle wrestling entertainment said wwe expresses continued sympathy to the family for their loss. this legal matter will be decided by the judiciale system. snuka's daughter, herself a popular wrestler currently with the wwe, has not commented. now 72, snuka said he was diagnosed with stomach cancer this year. in his 2012 autobiography he maintains i never hit nancy or threatened her. he said if i was guilty of anything it was cheating on my wife and that was it.
