we're following breaking news coming in from younkers. a man shot in the parking lot of a burger king. >> reporter: michael, this story is still unfolding. right now we know one man has been shot and is in very serious condition at the hospital. i want to show you the scene here. you can see a lot of detectives here in this parking lot of burger king. on the floor, you can see a lot of markers, bullet casings on the ground, a car they've been looking through for evidence. the shooting happened just after 12:30 this morning. police cordoned off this parking lot and spent most of the morning searching for evidence and questioning witnesses inside this burger king. you can see them with flashlight flashlights going through a black mercedes. it's not clear how many shots were fired or the motive for the shooting. you can see what appears to be the victim's mother yelling "my son, my son." again, that victim was taken to
