there are 46 couour s in south carolina. donald trump won all but three. is his nomination a foregone conclusion at this point, chuck? >> if this were any other elrepublican, that's what we'd be talking about. no republiain won back-to-back like this since 1980 and not become the republican nominee. that's how big and important this win is. look, cruz and rubio have resources. cruz and rubio have packed in the nomination. there's no doubt about it. but donald trump has the easiest path to s e nomination now. the question is, does this stay three-way race? does it get narrowed u n to two? e ohm question that republicans have had about trump now is whether he can win in a one-on-one? will we get there in time to test that premise or will he have racked up enough delegates and win byo say, the end of martha it won't matter anymore. i think that will be the next ten days. this sort of fight between cruz

with really a solid win. how critical was this win for her campaign and for bernie sanders, how damaging was it for him, especially in terms o his momentum? >> a loss here for hillary clinton would have meant the first three contests she would ve lost two out of three and barely the one that she had won wa won beton eyelash in iowa. that's not the case this morning. she's got twoitins under her lt now and now the question is, bernie sanders where can he win a a diverse electorate. this was a best shoget to puncture that mythology that he can't win when the electorates are more diverse. operationally, nevada was perfect for him. you could bring in new voters, same-day voter regist . benefits the standards, the enthusiasm more than clinton. everything was in place for him. he outspent her, had ore resources than she did in t s state, yet she won. what now? the pressure o sanders. of the next 12 contests, it's easy to see how clinton rolls 8 of the 12 if not more.
