news 4 new york >> good morning right now,ewe're following breaking news coming from midtown, manhattan, where there's been a steam pipe leak at a building 106th west 58th street. this is amateur video you're seateing there, you can see the steam coming out. we're told people are being evacuated from the area and the street is closed. this was 58th street between 6th and 7th just south of central park south. chopper 4 is over the scene right now. kai is in chopper 4. what can you tell us? >> reporter: well, michael, good morning to you. first got word on this just before 10:00 this morning. these are live pictures now from chopper 4. as you said, over 106th west 58th street here in midtown, a block south of central park. you can see towards the center part of the screen steam coming out of the ground. we are hearing a large steam pipe has burst. unclear how it happened, but west 58th street is closed through the area. no injuries have been reported. we are also hearing about some evacuations heremand thr ugh

we haven't seen anybody specifically being evacuated just yet, but we are hearing ports of that. west 58thstreet remains closed betwee fifth and seventh avenues, that could be increasing as time goej on here. you can see as i come out here towards the left-hand portion of the screen that's west 58th street to the right, west 57th, heavily traveled area through this part o the city. as you can see here, mich l, lots and lots of traffic. >> go back down in there, the building to the left is the new york athletic club on 58th street to the left of your screen. to the right is a building under construction there just east of where that steam pipe broke. then, obviously, there's apartment buildings there. as you said, this is towards the west side of the street right on seventh avenue. that's a narrow area. once again, 58th street and construction has been going on. lot of vehicles in there, kai. >> yeah, absolutely. you can see the cranes here. it's obvious a lot of

saying. >> thank you for that. i think. i have two extraordinary people with very different stories. you're going to be wowed. first we have shawn anders , 40 years old, from ponca city, oklahoma. at 13, he weighed 300 pounds. and at 19 he weighed 500 pounds. he clearly had a very dysfunctional relationship with food ahich hit him physically and emotionally. at the same time he's an uber tal en, super funny and super smart. he submitted a voice tape to a tradioestation when he was a young adult to get a spot. sight unseen they actually hired him. he got in the car, he relocated his family. when he got there in his 500 pound body, they rescinded the offer. he was devastated. but i have to say at the same time this was cis motivation to change his ways. some he gave himself a calorie budget.
