on a big night when the focus turns to the general election, that's the message he played. the biggest obstacle he faces in the general election is this huge, huge gender gap and the kinds of comments last night only seemed to reinforce it. >> mike murphy said, it was like trump was built in a lab to blow the general election. steve and nicolle, thank you. severe weather still pounding the heartland, with more tornadoes, high winds and large hail. nbc national correspondent miguel almaguer is in oklahoma, south of tulsa. what is it like there? >> the fire chief isn't sure if a small twister touched down or it was just powerful winds that brought down the power poles and trees. nearly 100,000 people across the area are without power. this wasn't the only area that was hit hard. >> reporter: warning sirens in the tulsa area as severe thunderstorms swept through oklahoma.
