one woman is dead and others are injured in that attack. londoners are waking up today is an increased police presence as a precaution. let's go to matt who joins us live from london. what's the latest in this investigation? >> reporter: i don't know if you can see, but as you mentioned there is an increased police presence and there's really atypical for this tranquil city. as you can see behind me, there's some police officers ou an area in front of russells square here in the heart of central london and that's because lost night there was a knifing and that left one woman dead, five injured. three of those people very sent home from hospital and the 19-year-old is in custody. police subdued him with a taser gun. the major ran on a platform of reducing knife violence her in

and we started on june 16th i would say right now it's the best in terms of being united that it's been since we began. we're doing incredibly well. >> but things got worse yesterday. a new fox news poll showed hillary clinton's post convention bump continuing to climb. clinton now leads trump by ten points nationally widening a 6-point lead from the month prior. the poll was conducted after the recent trump muslim american soldier killed in action. in that poll 69% say trump's actions and statements against the soldier's parents were out of bounds. 61% say trump may not have the temperament to serve as commander in chief. compare that to 64% that say clinton does have the temperament to run the country. two additional members of congress say they cannot vote

for trump in november. but there was a glimmer of good news yesterday when the trump campaign announced its recent fund raising total for july. trump all but erased the fund raising in the past few months. $64 million in july, the bulk of it coming from small dollar donations. $82 million were brought in last month. that is just clinton's $90 million hall. signaling that trump may have the financial resources to put up a fight against clinton many the final stretch of the campaign. after the wall street journal reported a $400 million payment the u.s. made to iran the same day four american soldiers were released, the question now becomes id the the u.s. in effect pay ran some to
