local highway patrol. administered after riding his motorcycle in fayetteville. it happened yesterday evening on gillespie street near the intersection with mountain drive. police say justin dunlap of hope mills crossed the center median and veered into oncoming traffic in court -- and crashed into a harley davidson that are cycle. the driver, 47 lynn allen ratley died in the crash. dunlap is charged with his demeanor -- is in the detention center with 1000 -- $100,000 bond. a house fire on meadowbrook road and garner occurred tonight. no word what caused the fire or if anyone was injured. for people are being held by the red cross after a fire broke out just before 3 o'clock. the one-story home on parkland drive was heavily damaged on one side. fortunately, no injuries were

officials tell wncn, the fire was started by an overloaded electrical circuit. turning to weather now, a little snow today. this video was taken in rockville. meteorologist bilbray is here now. no snow tomorrow but a little bit cold. very cold temperatures. it was exciting when we had some snow out there. you can see some of that snow move away. it was all gone by 12:00 but it came down between lewisburg and roanoke rapids. it accumulated some unofficial reports around bond and halifax. we had a half inch in roxborough and trace amounts of the triangle. that all moved off to the east. there is or 1 o'clock greater. here is your current radar were temperatures at 11 o'clock. it is cold out there. 30 in roanoke rapids. 32 in raleigh. 34 in fayetteville. anyone in wilson. the big picture, we have the rain and the snow move away. it is all up in the northeast.

southwest michigan today. michigan state police said a total of 44 vehicles were involved in the wreck. another 12 vehicle pileup happened at the same time that involved six semi trucks. the exact causes of the crashes are not clear but investigators to believe the cold weather and recent snowfall played a role. meanwhile, florida's west coast, two people are dead after tornadoes touched down in manatee counters. they only had 18 minutes of warning before the f2 tore through a 4 mile stretch.>> my son was coming down the driveway and he was covered in blood. he just kept saying i can't find my dad. we pulled up here. serious situation in florida.
