a propane tanker rear-ended a car. the car was going about 35 miles per hour in the 65-mile an hour zone. troopers charged the driver of the tanker, crews took one person to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. everything was back open about 20 minutes after the crash. a fayetteville man is facing attempted murder charges ever he and two other men were shot at the a party on saturday. police say nearly 30 people were attending a birthday gathering when three men starting argued. they say a 25-year old shot the a 21-year old multiple times then a second man began firing as well. in the end allen was also shot. >> it's all about people's safety, everyone's safety, the safety of others and bringing everyone together. we're trying to give back. a lot of the things that we're doing in here includes giving back. according to police search warrant that included upscale's parking lot turned up narcotics,

this week the man accused of killing three students in chapel hill is scheduled to appear in court. authorities say that he killed the three students. hicks is accused of shooting the three last year in the couple's home. he's now facing three counts of first degree murder. chapel hill police say the shootings were motor evade by an

temperatures in the 50s. we're seeing a little extra cloud cover towards the virginia border, a that could be a reason for those milder temperatures but i want to point out on our radar this band of rain extended from central portions of pennsylvania back through kentucky, into tennessee this morning, that's a cold front and that could bring us a few showers this evening into the overnight hours. now, ahead of it the daylight hours today dry and sunny, a mix of sun and clouds, 8 a.m. temperature 50, 59 at 10 a.m., 64 at noon and eventually climb to a high of 69, then we're back to 64 by 6 p.m. just the chance for an isolate shower at 6:00. i think we'll see a few more showers as we head into the later hours. here we are 7 a.m. this morning like i said plenty of sunshine, sunrises at about 6:16 this morning. we'll see plenty of sunshine on our lunch hour. if you are able to head outdoors and enjoy the fresh air. evening drive comes around 6, 7:00 this evening start to see a
