conditions for this to be a light wintry mix. so some light snow falling. also from time to time some flurries around orange and durham counties. this is not going to stick on the roadways. i'm not expecting this to be a big deal for us. it should be out of here by say, 9:00 this morning. let's talk current temperatures 37 in raleigh and durham, 36 in henderson. still barely holding onto 40s in littleton and fayetteville. today that light rain and snow mix through about 8 a.m. am your temperature around 38 degrees, 44 at noon today and then sunshine this afternoon, a high of 47. i'll have a closer look at that weekend ahead in just a little bring. right now let's switch gears and check in with traffic. this is i-440 on the u.s. 64 bypass it's going to be east of raleigh today and not a lot going on in this direction. let's check in with your live

has also passed away. his brother made the announcement on his facebook page thursday. he was 74 years old. today four suspected of running a meth lab in wade county will make their first court appearance. the sheriffs office busted the lab on thursday afternoon. emma wright join us from the justice center. >> investigators say they found the ingredients to make meth in a house where the four were staying but even worse there was an 18-month old girl living there as well. >> the wade county sheriffs office says neighbors tipped then off after they saw too many cars coming and going from this house in apex. >> sheriff deputies said that night that there was something suspicious going on. >> deputies say their as you say pictures were correct. they found ingredients to make meth inside. even though the lab wasn't active an 18-month old

says that makes it a serious crime. >> it's bad enough for the adults to use the drugs number one, but to put that child in the danger that making meth does is just amazing to me. i don't understand it. >> the sheriffs office arrested a 32-year old, a 30-year old, a 23-year old, and 28-year old. all expected to appear in court later today. as for that 18-month old baby the sheriffs office says she and another woman were taken to the hospital to be checked out. >> thanks for that update. appreciate that. still ahead more on the forecast. >> as we are tracking the light

headin today just about 6:11 on this friday morning. 37 degrees but as we get our morning started yeah, there's plenty of cars out there but also moisture collecting on our lens. some of that falling as rain for some of you, some of that falling as a light snow mix. i want to bring you into a closer look here at wade county from time to time we've had the rain and snow mix. right now it looks like that mix is really just in the southwestern corner of the sliding you just off though to our south and west look at this sanford dealing with that mix right now. i do not expect any accumulations on the roadways. if we're going to see any sort of accumulation at all it would be a light dusting

van ran a red light around midnight. the van hit a car, the impact of that crash ejected the driver out of the car. that person is expected to survive though, crews also took a passenger in the van to the hospital. today the durham county health department will host its the 12th annual give kids a smile day. the event helps children five to 18 years of age who may not be able to afford proper dental care. a new warning this morning more honda drivers. the automaker is recalling additional models over faulty airbags. the recall includes newer and older models and replacement parts won't be available though until late this summer. honda says dealers can provide loaner cars if necessary. and another recall fiat is recalling more than half a million dodge chargers and it covers 2011 through 2016 models

going to be wet for some of you. we've been dealing with some showers and some of that now start to go fall as a rain and snow mix. so here we are the big picture showing pretty dry conditions around the 95 corridor but here in wade county we're seeing rain and light snow mixing in especially if you're heading down u.s. 1. also out towards durham seeing some light flurries mix if there from time to time right along 40 seeing that mix as well and then look at lee county sanford seeing some very light snow. the key here this morning this is all light it's only going to be hearsay for another 3 hours they longest. this is the back end of the system that we've been dealing with for the past few days. so as soon as that moves out we're going to see some sunshine return. here's what you need to know as your planning your day 8 a.m. 38 degrees, and quickly sunshine by lunchtime 44 our temperature mid-day climbing eventing to a high of 47 this afternoon.
