at 8, 36 at noon. so we don't get above freezing until say 11 o'clock this morning. 40 our afternoon high, that's where we were yesterday. and then back into the mid-30s. we'll start to turn partly cloudy by about 6 p.m. this evening. so checking in with temperatures first 17 in roxboro, 19 in henderson, 19 in south hill, also in the 20s in sanford, pinehurst, it's been quite some time since we've had this many locations in the teens as actual temperatures, but like i said, there's enough of a breeze in some neighborhoods to have a big impact. it feels like 16 degrees at the raleigh durham international airport. and now fayetteville you also feel like it's right around 16 degrees. so that's going to be around throughout the morning hours. the wind is not going to be as big of a factor this afternoon. all in all today is going to be quiet for us. plenty of sunshine right on through your lunch shower hour.

continues this afternoon, just a cloud or two for the evening drive home. tonight we'll look at more clouds building in by about 7 a.m. tomorrow morning and then the chance for scattered snow and rain showers now starting mid-day. so yesterday we were thinking this wouldn't start until further in the afternoon. i do think it will be here right around lunchtime if not a little bit before. and look at this falling as a snow and possibly wintry mix right around 1:00 in the afternoon. the good news with this system it's going to move out pretty quickly. it's not going to have a lot of moisture with it, but there are some small accumulations possible. this system is not going to be a big deal for us. i think we're tracking a messier system for earlier next week. accumulations for tomorrow you'll notice this is our -- what we call american model and this will be close to an inch here in raleigh, about a dusting down around the sand hills but there is that area that we can see closer to two inches right along the 95 corridor. this is one model. this doesn't bring
5:49 am
