wintery mix early monday. generally light precipitation. but there could be up to three inches. mainly up by roxboro and into the triad. i'm still thinking less than an inch in the triangle. usually you don't get winter storm watches with less than an inch of snow. but i any the weather service being safe than sorry. ice, you don't usually get a winter storm warning or watch unless it's over a quarter of an inch. precipitation. but you know what, the freezing. continually tomorrow and into monday morning. so any precipitation we get will stick. so with that in mind, the best chance of snow and sleet, that best chance is north and west of the triangle. here's the latest rapid precision snow model map. 1 to 3 inches. less than an inch in the triangle. this is a brand new updated map trying to show a little more growth of that 1 to 3-inch line up to the northwest of us. and then what's growing to happen is it'll all get washed away monday night and tuesday. then we have to talk about rain.

some snow, and that pink is snow, sleet, and freezing rain. and then as we head toward lunch time, it's snow, sleet, and freezing rain, but look how the rain is taking over southeast of raleigh. and then it takes over the triangle. and you'll see some of that freezing stuff go away. and it's going to be rain and lots of it into tuesday morning and then after that, by tuesday afternoon, things will clear out and we'll be dry the rest of the week. so for tomorrow, increasing clouds, get above freezing in the sand hills. and southern coastal plane. but stay at freezing wilson northward. freezing in the triangle toward the virginia border. so we have 32 tomorrow after a low of 14. a wintery mix monday morning. changing to rain monday night. and it'll be rainy on tuesday. look at that. a high of 37 monday. a low of 37 monday night. so temperatures are actually rising as a warm front goes through and we clear out and it's nice wednesday, thursday, and friday and saturday. 62. >> all eyes on saturday. >> got to watch monday morning though. it's going to be a mess. thanks bill.
