they were infected with distemperaturer. it won't hurt you but your pet can get infected. chatham county says you won't have to make up the day on monday because you put in more rounds than required but if there's another round of snow those days will have to be made up. and that would be if there is another round of snow. today in cary north carolina the boys of summer were back. several teams in town mainly from the north because they have snow on the ground, and it's kind of hard to play snow, and a white ball doesn't usually work out. the mainly league kids reported earlier this week so it won't be long now before it feels like spring in factored this weekend will feel like spring as we warm it up. and the weekend is upon us and it's about ready to be nightfall. temperatures 49 degrees right now.

around central north carolina after sneaking into the 50s today most of us in the 40s right now. the good news is the 20s we saw this morning, that is the last we'll see of them for at least a week. so that means it's not going as cold tonight. clear skies, dry weather as we head into the overnight hours and we'll drop down to 46 degrees at 8, 44 at 10, and as we continue overnight we go into the upper 30s if you're up early tomorrow morning can, and if you've got some time tonight five minutes is all it will take the international space station will be passing overhead at 6:51. from the northwest it will come in off the distance and pass directly overhead but it's going to last 6 minutes. what it's going to look like is
6:19 pm
across the sky but that's not an airplane that is our space station and there are people living on it. so check that out if you've got time tonight. in the meantime high pressure gave us some decent weather the past couple days but also chilly, positive now, that it's pushing east of us our winds come more out of the south ask that means warmer weather this weekend. however there is a cold front in the mid-west that will be here sunday into monday also bringing us another chance of rain and we've upped the chance just a bit for sunday. first of all tomorrow early on if you've got some errands to run, garage sales weather should be dry and chilly but not cold and we'll bring in a couple of clouds throughout the afternoon but that will fluctuate with some sunshine. and then we get into the overnight hours kind of of the same thing partly cloudy skies will mix in a little bit of clear skies. sunday morning again chilly but not cold and there will be more clouds
6:20 pm
here we are at lunchtime notice showers start to come out of the mountains that's associated with the cold front. it stays to our west but later sunday instead of about a 20 percent chance of rain which is what we've said the last couple of days we've upped that to a 30% chance of a quick shot of rain so it's later in the day so most of the day, i wouldn't cancel anything outside especially since it's going to be so much warmer. saturday we start around 40 at 8 a.m., up to 56 at noon, mid-60s by the afternoon and sunday look at this, 50 degrees in the morning time. i mean, there have been days where we haven't got out of the 30s for a high and yet our morning temperature is going to be 50 sunday. so that's what type of warmer air we're going to see on the way to highs in the upper 60s but again 20 to 30% chances of rain later in the day. so your 7-day forecast takes us from the 50s today up to 65 tomorrow, 68 sunday.
6:21 pm
then that's kind of where the warming stops because the cold front will eventually trickle through dropping us into the 50s, monday, 40s on tuesday and still looking kind of soggy next week with a 40% chance of rain monday, 80 percent on tuesday. it looks to be our wet east day and we'll keep some showers around wednesday with a 50% chance still not looking severe and still looking to be a rain event although i will say it will not surprise me if one or two snowflakes mixes in wednesday as everything's leaving. so nothing significant or accumulating or getting us out of school and then we dry out and level back off to about 50 by thursday and friday. so again our three degree guarantee high tomorrow is 65. today not that warm, we made it to 53. we forecast 51. so we're within our 3 degrees meaning another $100 from us and our friends at allen kelly heating and air for the american heart association
