today the man durham police say shot a toddler in a drive by shooting is expected in court. >> a a bullet hit a little boy in the leg. emma, where does the investigation stand? >> police say the shooting wasn't random but they say the boy wasn't the intended target. neighbors tell us they are upset that someone knowingly shot up a house full of kids. >> it was like something out of new jack city. >> residents in this neighborhood after a 26-year old fired off is several rounds into an at home day care. broad daylight and didn't even >> police say one of the bullets hit a toddler in the leg. a friend of the day care's owner says she tried to protect the kids. >> they thought it was fire

it's 54 degrees right now. you can see that the tar make is a little shiny, some of you saw a little bit of rain throughout the overnight. we're watching a cold front come through and it will continue to bring us cloudy skies also the chance for rain. right now this morning this cold front still off to our north and as far as rain showers out there this morning most of us dry but look towards warren county, just a few light showers there, maybe a shower just west also. now, as far as visibility for us it's more of a concern because it's impacting more of you this morning. this is the latest check and visibility now less than a mile around durham at a half a mile in lee county and a mild visibility around siler city, 3 miles in raleigh, two and a half in louisburg, i mentioned it earlier if you drive into some of the foggy conditions remember your low beams.
