tornado in that area, it will be rain wrapped. it will be hard to detect at this point in time. this warning was just issued. doppler radar indicated a severe thunderstorm capable of producing this dangerous tornado. this dang vas storm located near lumberton and moving northeast at 55 miles per hour. so as far as speed is concerned, this storm really moving fast as we track this tornado warned storm in portions of cumberland county. this does not include fayetteville at this point if time. it is the southern portion of cumberland county. i'll take you into a close are look at this storm this morning. a lot of rain falling across southern portions of company baer land county this morning. we'll continue to watch this storm here on wncn today as long as this warning is in effect. you are looking at south of fayetteville. this includes grays creek, stedman. as i take a closer look in. you will notice the red box,

warning is in effect. grays creek, stedman, you also notice this includes i-95. we all necessity that i-95 is really busy, a busy roadway and if you are driving along in cumberland county an you are on 95, you need to get to shelter immediately. that is not under an underpass. those in a ditch. you need to get to something sturdy arab building of some sort where can you seek shelter away from any windows. if you are in a home, the safest police will be in the most interior portion of your home way from windows. at this point in time, we do have this warning in effect for southern portions of cumberland county. a have a storm track through crowd the day.

55 miles per hour this morning. so southern portions of cumberland county. this would put this overhead at stedman at about 11:14 this morning. if this storm holds together, this tornado warn storm is set to expire at 11:45. we have another storm just off to the south of that in portions of robeson county. this one is in effect for southern portion of cumberland county. you may be saying here i'm here in wake county and i'm dealing with a lot of rain as well.

nothing is as severe as this tornado warn storm. we are really watching the storm right along cumberland county for a little bit of rotation. again, these storms came out of south carolina and we were talking all morning long about the warmth and the fuel that will come with the storms. these areas were the first to see the very moist air move in and the very warm temperatures move in to portions of cumberland, samson counties. i'm not surprised that we are seeing this tornado warn storm here first and foremost. latest information. we'll show you where the red boxes or top of the radar data. that is where we are seeing the tornado warning. again, southern portions of cumberland county, areas that could be impacted include

creek, bushy lake natural area inform you are traveling around, you need to get into a safe place at this point in time. this storm just south of fayetteville. i'm not going to tell you you are in the clear fayetteville. you need to pay attention to this storm very closely as we watch this throughout the course of the morning. it is now 11:00. this warning has been in effect for about 10 minutes at this point in time. they are set to continue through 11:45 today. we are getting indications of rotation with this storm. most of this just south really of cumberland county so moving into cumberland county as we speak. we'll continue to watch this very closely again. this storm moving pretty fast, 55 to 65 miles per hour. so it will race through portions of cumberland county here pretty quickly. the national weather service
