serving time behind bars to continue to collect his paychecks. now according to a report, just released by the inspector general, convicted sex offender dennis mclaughlin collected $12,700 serving eiggt months in prison for abusing a minor. 17 page report said mclaughlin, a utility repairman with the department of public works had 15 fraudulent medical leave slips submitted by an unnamed office assistant leading supervisors to believe he was recovering from surgery. paid sick days from the union sick bank and most concerning for the director of public works that, none of mclaughlin's managers attempted to contact him while missing. >> this certain protocol that has tt be followed and it wasn't. and we know that additional disciplinary should come in behind this. >> now, as a result of this story and as a result of the report. mayor has issued an executive

northwest baltimore and tonight the boyfriend could face two murdcharges. prosecutors are trying to determine if they can charge 29-year-old andrew jackson under state's viable fetus law. jackson is charged with killing 29-year-old betty regan. court records indicate jackson showed a violent tendency toward women in the past. >> jackson has been charged with murder. he has -- he is held without bail. at the baltimore city jail. >> whether or not jackson will be charged, under maryland's viable fetus statute, has not been determined at this time. that matter remains under investigation pending the full medical examiner's report. >> he worked at the lock up where she supposedly met jackson. it is suspected that regan was between 3 and 4 months pregnant. >> a man is dead after a tractor trailer runs off the road long northern parkway. it happened after 4:00 this afternoon. between greenspring and silver

midwest. over indiana, ohio and kentucky. that's what the storm prediction center out of norman oklahoma has posted as far as the slight risk category. first we may see afternoon showers and thunderstorms that move ahead of the warm front. temperatures are not affected too much by it tomorrow. we will notice a changee3 wednesday. when we start to see the temperatures going up, a lot more compared to right now. sitting at 45 degrees. mainly clear skies. winds calm. humidity levels at 63 percent. we can see on the almanac page. high toped out at 64. normally we should be in the lower 70s. so you can see temperatures are well below where we should be. but we will see the switch around going down the road. our record was 96 degrees back in 1896. and our low this morning started out at 35. so you can see how we start out cool. no rain to talk about, but that changes tomorrow afternoon. 57 in downtown baltimore. 43 in salisbury. so already the cooler air settling in on the eastern
