destructiin in the mmdwees. in parts of ohio five people are dead. with high winds flaatening homes and oppling buildings. craig boswell is live tonight n at the damage the storms leftok behind and how communities are %-the aftermath.p the pieces in craii? >> good eveeing to you jennifer. yeah, a lot of pieces to pick3 up. a lot of work to do. certainly got underwayytoday. and many, many more days, weeks and months aaead. at lake high school, effortt are now underway o start removing some of tte large debris. as you can see, they have their work cut out for them. in the foreground is what uued to be the cafeteria. what remains of it. behind that is the gymnaaium where they were to have graduation ceeemonies here yesterday..3 that has to be rescheduled. the national weather service said that winds upwards of 165 miles per hour packed around the tornadoes that tore through the area. swath of damage is amazing. 10 miles long.

300 miles wide. one of the things jennifer interesting about this story %ere, at lake high school. brought her three children and husbaad.ú got in their car, came over here because the school is alss a storm shelter. they came over and they cannot get in because it was locked. saw the tornado heading this way. when it got close it knockeedout powwr. thaa disengaged thh security lock. they were able to get in just in tiie as the tornado tooe throogh this areaa there was other people in the back part of the building, who talked about the sounds and3 furry and what hhppened as this tornado tore through here.ú %-really on the amount of victi. five people lost lives ii this none of them here at this but there were five victims, it -as revised from even. thought it was seven earller. now it is five.

class valedictorian here at the schooll of course we understand that graduation ceremonies at lake high school, of course, were postponed. what is going on with thht? how do they move forward and eventually have a graduation? they have rescheduled it for ttmorrow night. 7:00. at the owen's ccmmunity college. certainly going to e a somber ceremony, with that hanging over ú%em. and the class valedictorian, father losing his life in the store. i am told what happened ii that he actually went up ffom where the family was huddded together. wenttup to get a flashlight. anddnever reeurned. >> so sad.3 tomorrow night will beea timee3 for the community to cul tooether and support each other. craig boswell, live in milbury ohio. thhnk you. thankfully the storms we saw yesterday did not leave muchh3 damage at all. we'reegrattful for that. we got cooler temperatures aftee the front moved through.
