doing utility work for the county, near the main when it ruppured. they do believeethat those utility workers, perhaps, separated two different mains, that led to the problems that you are seeing there. the city, as a result was forced to shuu down a 48-inch watermai3 thaa supplies water to 10,000 nearby homes and businesses. tonight the gushing water is giving way to plenty of irritation. >> it ii a mess. it is a mess. we are frustrated. i don't think anyone is really understanding. >> we have very serious problems right now that we are concerned about. >> again back out live. the city hopes to put some kind of cap n too of the watermain. hoping it will be a temporary fix to prevent any more issues. they tell us thaa if you are without water tonight in this area.3 they are hoping to have the water back on by tomorrow evening at this time. and if you are in the surrounding areas and you have water coming out like a murky color, they suggest you run it through until it is clear and looks clean. for now, live in essex. michael buczyner fox 45 news.

>> bad time to be without water because thh heat is back and it will continue to get worse this week. already baltimore city has declared tomorrow a code red heat day. chieffmeteorologist vytas reid is in the sky watch weather center with a first look at the forecast. >> jennifer, hot conditions tomorrow again. across the central maryland region. and it looks like it will just got get hot into thh upper 90s. we saw the 90s earlier today. 94 degrees for the nighú baltimore. 93 in d.c. 96 in hagerstown. but upper 90s. currently sitting in the 80s. but it will continue to warm through the day tomorrow. plenty of sunshine. and clear skies. almost 80 degrees at 6 a.m. lunch time 94. could be sitting at 98 degrees. probably see heat indexes in place for tomorrow around 100 plus range. i will have closer look to see how long it will stick around, >> thank you, vytas. >> police are looking for three suspects after a 7-11 clerk is

of the week. currently looking at hd skycam. downtown baltimore. relatively quiet conditions. mainly clear skies. just a few high thin clouds, haze out there. 80 degrees. holding on to some of the daily heat from the 90s earlier. winds out of the south-southeast at three. and humidity levels at 64 percent. and we have very, very calm winds, but we have air quality advisories out there. so the air does not move a lot. from he daily heating. humidity and the pollltion in the atmosphere can call for dangerous conditions for breathing. 93 was the high. out at bwi thurgood marshall airport. 68 was the low. and you can see theee was no precipitation because we are on the dry side of things right now with high pressure in place. that will change as we see a front push through later in week. 94 recorded at downtown 93 in d.c. 96 hagerstown. so some mid 90s that were across the state. we will be in the upper 90s, brushing almost 100 tomorrow.
