defending the dream summit is drawing lots of people and lots of controversy. sarah palin and glenn beck are there. and beck will sppak tomorrow. it is just happening to be the anniversary of dr. martin luther king "" have a dream" speech. the fact that organizers chose this paaticular weekend and the lincoln memorial as he site for the rally has some questioning why? >> i just don't understand the timing. i think everything is deliberate. and i just want more unity for america. >> i believe what dr. king believes in too. to me it doesn't matter it is on the same day or at the lincoln memorial, i am there to honor him as well. >> civil rights officials will commemorate with a march of their own ending on the national mall. >> now the question of the day. is it appropriate to hold a taxpayer rally on the anniversary of dr. martin luther king "i have a dream" speech? 64 percent say yes. 36 percent say no. jean writes on our website. to stir up controversy. they planned it that way. >> but mary joe writes on

facebook..3 i do believe the rally held on the anniversary is appropriate because we all have dreams that the politiciins continue to take >> and in other news of the day. a woman found dead in anne arundel county home thursday may by a man that dded in a car accident just one hour after the homicide. police say deanna pat 10 died from sphyxiation in her home in -anumans, shortly later the car belonging to him crashed. the driver carl patt10 was recently released from jail. >> he took the vehicle and left. it is frightful. this is just an evil world. and it is a bad time for everyone. >> deanna was killed on her 47th birthday. >> a pastor, pleads guilty in a plot to kill a disabled man for his life nsurance money. kevin pushia led a east baltimore church until fire destroyed it a few years ago.

be comfortable this evening. we ave warmer air on the way. nice out there in baltimore. 67 degrees. 73 in d.c. we will continue to cool down. ii fact, looking at the dew points. the air is dry. but more moistuue is on the way. as far as that humidity level is concerned. and not as far assrainfall is concerned. so the next 12 hours, we will be cool overnight. dropping down to the upper 50s in many locations. and then warming up to the mid 80s by tomorrow afternoon. and we will see 90s before the weekend is up. i will have thh details on that coming up in my full forecast. jeff? >> keep an eye on the atlantic3 storms, five years ago this weekend, hard to believe. hurricane katrina came onshore and batteeed the city of new orleans and other gulf coast cities. costliest natural disaster in u.s. history. >> we still are struggling. problem wwth paperwork getting it filed. people walking down through the neighborhoods like before, now they walk away. and we are homeless and helpless.

very nice out there. feeling cool temperatures this evening. 67 degrees is where we are sitting right now. from the inner harbourr with calm winds and humidity at 81 percent. clear skies will allow us to cool down in many locations to overnight tonight.0s for comfortable weather out there. that's the case for tomorrow as well. we are keeping the eye on the3 tropics. because we have a couple of storms to talk about here. anniversary of katrina. watching hurricaae danielle hurricane category 4. turning into the atlantic. not a threat for the u.s. over the next coople of days, as far as any approaching land situations..3 but it will move north. still, such a strong hurricane that it could cause strong rip currents up nd down the eastcoast. something to bear in mind if you are headed to ocean city. and other storm is right here. tropical storm earl, and while it is still far off the coast. we are watchhng it because it is expected to become a hurricane over the next couple of days.

possibly a major hurricane. could become a category 3 hurriccne. right now though, not anywhere %-winds at 52. per hour. the west at 17 miles and you can see that cone bringing it closer and closer to the u.s. it will wraparound the side of the high pressure that has been bringing us nice weather. so we will moniiorrtropical storm earl ooer the next couple of days and see what it means for the u.s. and eastcoast in particular. back at home. we are talking about comfortable weather. in fact, high pressure has been3 sitting on top of us over the past couple of days. bringing us nice weether here. will bring us cool emperatures. once the high pressure hifts on top of us, we will see warming temperaturess and then when it moves off the coost. that's when we start to heat up. that will happen sunday, monday3 tuesday. we will haae high temperatures reaching the low 0s to start off the week..3 by thh middle of the week, we will be in the mid to, possibly, even upper 90s. warm weather in our forecast. not feeling it tonight though. cool out therr.
