common sense. wbff tv in baltimore, this is fox 45 news "late edition." >> hello again, i am jeff barnd. >> and i am jennifer gilbert. a showdown over security hits holiday travelers. there are attempts to delay travelers heading home for the holiday. >> jeff abell is standing by live at bwi thurgood marshall airport with the latest on the story tonight. jeff? >>well, the, it has been one congested evening. this is the entrance to he airport. which has been congested all night. traffic is just beginning to let thurgood marshall airport. and tomorrow, however, they are bracing for another sort of back up. as the battle over those body scanners hits the holidays. here at the airport. half of the 14 security lanes are equipped with body scanners. which opponents complain are invasive ann ineffective. they are dubing tomorrow opt out day and encouraging travelers to

working young man. he didn't frequent the streets. you know, he loved all tc. that's part of the reason why we came to charlotte. >> well, a flight from charlottt landed in boston around the same time tisdale's body was found. >> back at home. police are searching for a suspect they claim choked and robbed an elderly man recently. 85-year-old mannwas walking into his home, on east lafayette avenue this month. when a man suddenly chokeed and robbed him. the suspect seen in the surveillance photos took off. >> detectives looking into the possible that the suspect saw the victim earlier in the morning at a bank then followed the victim home. when he robbed him. >> police now hope that somebody will recognize this suspect from the photo and call them with any information. viccim meantime was not hurt in this incident. >> telling troubles for one hopkins hospital employee. tonight he is blaming city hall. jeff williams just got off work friday and discovered his car

missiig. he called police and reported it stolen. and later found ittat the city's impound lot. the city said that the car was relocated. because of work on the block. williams was parked on. >> my point is, if you are going to tow my car, give me a legitimate reason why you are towing it. their reason was they were trimming trees. so see no trees around here that you will trim. so i called again. the next excuse they told me they had a water break. i don't see no water break around here. so why would you tow my car and another car and leave other cars down here? that'ssmy anger. >> we get it. williams was able to get his car out of the impound lot for free. but he still is out $200 for rental car he had while he thought his car was stolen. >> baltimore county man is sentenced for killing his wifee dennis tetso 18 years for second-degree murder. tracy tetso vanished in 2005. 30 years but suspended 12ave him

moving in. seeing the transition from mild air to cooler temperatures. behind thh frontal boundary. and that will continue through the overnight. into tomorrow. that's why we will see cooler temperatures as we go through the next few days. hopefully you had a chance to get out. even if it was raining for a moment to enjoy the 66 that we had this afternoon. for a high. low was 45. but normally we should be t 55. so it looks like we are above normal. but temperatures below normal as we gg toward the week. lookinggat our state temperatures. 57 in baltimore. 59 in d.c. only 48 in hagerstown. and then dropping into the mid 30s in western maryland. so that cooler air is on the way. as we head through the overnight, with the help of the3 northwest winds, as you see here. breezy conditions across the state tonight. and thennthat will carry through to tomorrow. so expect to see breezy conditions through much of the day tomorrow as the front pushes through. bigger picture here. you can see the temperatures on the milder side across the mid-atlantic, down south of us over parts of north carolina and virginia. but west of us. down to the 30s.
