county line today. snow stuck to the roadways, enough to cause traffic problems. some cars slid off the road. causingbackups. school buses ha trouble as well. forcing parents to have to pick up kids. >> it definitely cut me offguard. because i went up to the school to volunteer. saw a couple of flurries. an hour later i left and it was blanketed in snow. >> state highway administration did not pretreat the road because of only flurries in the forecast. >> not that we are blaming anyone. we are not done with the winter weather either. emily gracey is joining us now. what is in store for the weekend. not your fault. i want you to knw that. >> we have winte weather in the forecast. but system today was caused by upper level disturbance. unexpected. we did see a trace in some locations to about half an inch in portions of frederick county. but that is moving out. and clear skiesight now. radar. upper level disturbance is causing problems up to new england. but moving out of there quickly as well.

by tomorrow. partly cloudy skies. and tomorrow night we start to see the next weather system push in. and may bring us ain and may bring us a little bit of snow as well. so here is how it happens. we will stay dry for tomorrow. butnext system comes in to play tomorrow night. so tomorrow evening we will start to see an increase in cloud cover. that low pressure comes in tomorrow night. you know in a few locations, especially west of baltimore it may start as freezing rain and sleet and change over t rain as that warming trend comes just ahead of the cold front. so we will be in the warm sector of the system. for quite awhile sunday. so mostly rain event during the day sunday. then watch sunday night to the early morning hours, of monday, for back sigh of the cool front to come through. when we see the shift in wind direction. cool air comes own. we start to see snow with the system. so sunday night to monday morning it changes over to snow. we are not expecting huge amounts of accumulation, anywhere from a 10th to a quarter inch in few locations. so certainly no huge snowfall out of this. but something to watch.

heartbreaking loss to the steelers, ravens are dealing with bad news about one of the rookies. baltimore county police search the home o receiver and punt returner david reid tuesday night. after receiving a call about possible narcotics. they are investigating evidence they seized. david reid has not been charged with anything. reid has also not been punished by the team and expected to travel with ravens fo monday night game in houston. ravens gearing up for the showdown. texans offense has had a lot of success putting points on the board this season. but houston's defense has struggled to keep opponents from doing the same. favoring 29th in the league. their defense allows you 26.8 points a game and past defense is ranked last. something that should play in the ravens' despair allow them to make good use of offensive weapons if they want to avoid a loss in prime time. >> we have the guys on the outside that can do it. backs are good in check down.
