a story about a shooting that happened more than a week ago. now you've seen the other side of the story from the cops. >> he was shot seven times but survived. he was shot by two officers more than a week ago. i have more details after i sat down with a lawyer. this gives a different story than what we were hearing from the family. they offer details we haven't heard before. >> they believed they were in harm's way and their lives were in danger. >> so in a training experience they discharge their gun. >> they spent time as a tractions officer and a cop practicing law and he said this

shooting is what's called righteous justify. the attorney general office said it was standard practice and he has been given psychological counseling and placed on leave. people around the family say he was a victim of police overreach and has shown us that this was a justified shooting. >> these things occur when police officers go into something called tunnel vision and it becomes blurred. at that particular time his training and experience kicks in and you react quickly. >> the police say he was shot in the leg.

was that on purpose not to use deadly force and kill him? >> i can tell you it's policy for all law enforcement not to shoot to wound and not shoot warning shots. this particular night. >> no matter what side is right the story is completely tragic. if he didn't have a gun and was shot for no reason it's tragic and if he's a 14-year-old that has a a gun it's also tragic. >> were going to keep doing our investigation on our own. we talk about two sides but really sometimes you need to see the third side. i'm going to see if there's any third person video. start us off.

the nypd is searching for a man accused of going into a young girl's bedroom at 2:00 o'clock in the morning and sexually assaulting her. he is described as 5-foot 2 inches at approximately 125 pounds. he was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, black best and brown pants and brown shoes. >> she is a 21-year-old mother of a three -month-old baby girl and said she was fired from her job because she needed brakes to pump milk because she was breast-feeding. she has now ignited a whole group of support from women who are breast-feeding. they are calling themselves justice for ariana. >> take a look at these photos of a boat crash that injured three people saturday night. police were called around 9:00 p.m. when the boat hit and the operator was arrested and

to follow up with an individual who was considered dead by the government and her family. >> they first brought us a story of a woman who received a phone call saying she passed away on april 2, 2015. nancy said social security received notice that she died which caused her to have to cancel he her medicaid and her bank accounts. since that time she has resolved the issue and they now acknowledge that she is in fact alive. we now have an expert attorney on this type of issue. is the story unique or is this something that is fairly common? >> i don't know if it's a common

problem, a common problem, but it should. annually about 2.5 million people are reported deceased in the u.s. annually, of that number there are about 12000 who are mistakenly reported. >> so we just want to clarify that, 2 million die but 12000 are reported dead and they're actually alive. how much of that is fraud or people doing it on purpose someone else's check and how much of it is clerical error #. >> social security has something called the death master file. it is actually commercially available and can be bought. it's called the social security death index and all it takes is one wrong keystroke and you can mistakenly be put on that list. >> is there anything our viewers can do to prevent this or avoid

this is where the jets are, the roller coaster and it's going to be moved a couple feet over but it will be done. chris christie is here and they asked him about donald trump's arrival to the iowa state fair in a helicopter and they asked how do you plan to arrive at the iowa state fair. >> what is a good job? that's what the campaign is trying to figure out when they held this event in manhattan at the intersection of fifth avenue and broadway. basically what they were doing is asking people walking by what they value most in the job. there were four core values. the four values were flexibility, ability, opportunity and pride.

76% of americans live paycheck to paycheck and millennial's are the generation that are the most educated but the least employed. she said initially she tried to get a job. >> now i feel like more than ever, everyone is struggling to survive and just provide for themselves or their family. she was rejected by mcdonald's and wendy's and finally got a job at checkers and that was because she knew somebody there. >> now it's older people that have to fight for those same jobs. the catch-22 is you can't get a job unless you have experience. >> it was promised that you may be employed but then no job appeared.
