a casino bus crashes in queens leaving a gaping hole in a building, several people heard. ben: emergency crews and building experts spent a good part of the afternoon and evening trying to remove that bus from the building. let's go to teresa priolo live there for us with a look at how it looked this morning. >> reporter: good morning. not every david you cover an accident like this and you see something like this behind us. typically this kind of thing is boarded up by the time we arrived. they built a fence around the building here on 60 third avenue but you can still see directly into the second-floor apartment, look at the books on the bookshelf, and a bunch of other personal belongings from the person that live in that apartment. it really is kind of remarkable to see that here. the resort world casino bus crashed into this yesterday afternoon.

it was removed a few hours ago, crews spent 12 to 15 hours attempting to stabilize this building. is unclear especially as we stand here it is going to have to come down. when we arrived on scene there is lots of cameron and such going on but we don't know if the building will have to come down. this bus was traveling northbound in the northbound bus lane of wouldhim and boulevard and it was cut off by an suv that was attempting to turn right. the bus swerved to avoid hitting the suv and careened into the building here. six people were hurt which includes the bus driver, one person the lived inside the building behind me. listen to the eyewitnesses who watched this accident unfold and helped to rescue the injured. >> i heard a big crash and ice are because i was coming down from there and saw the bus crashed into the building there and i looked at the bus driver
