testing revealed low levels of bacteria in a cooling tower, a faculty meeting scheduled for yesterday and today had to be moved while the cooling tower was disinfected original letter to faculty members obtained, the principle of this school said the bacteria was only found in small amounts and is unlikely to have infected any one. we understand this cooling tower was tested as a result of legislation passed following the legionnaires' outbreak earlier this summer. that prompted new city guidelines for treating and testing cooling towers. 12 people died and 100 others were sickened by legionnaires'. the outbreaks and in the south bronx was the largest in new york city history. according to reports the department of health said the school has taken appropriate steps to disinfect this cooling tower and we do understand that the school is scheduled to open next week so that is the latest on the upper east side. back to you. juliet: bill deblasio will be
