mike: welcome back, everyone. to what we have starting off the workweek here. 59 in sussex. 59 bridgeport. 67 montauk. so we have a cloudy skies in if tristate region. not completely cloudy but the clouds are making a come back. winds are not all that significant, but coming at you 3-8 miles per hour from the east and the northeast throw the region. no t a huge factor with the weather, but you are going to notice the changes. we have got a lot more cloud cover moving from the region and a cold front that is swinging into the region and changing things up in a couple of days. the high pressure is trying to control the weather and doing not such a great job at this

now it is going to drift up to the northeast. we have a couple areas of low pressure over the gulf of mexico and bringing in the moisture and making for a messy scenario in the next couple of days. today we are bringing back the clouds and the showers are setting up as well. now to the futurecast, cloudy this afternoon and evening. not much going on with the rainfall. just a sprinkle chance. not too much is going on today. tomorrow is showers are picking up. we could see the showers firing up even for the morning commute, but the chances of rain picking up later in the day and real wet headed to wednesday, a cold front with a lot of the moisture feeding up and this is a sloppy day for us, but the opportunity to play the catchup in terms of
