we need to move on to other news. robert: the suspect and in the shooting of an nypd officer made his first court appearance late last night. >> tyrone howard is being held without bail on murder and robbery charges. liz dahlem joins us live from east harlem, where a memorial is growing. >> reporter: good morning, flowers and candles are laid out in front of the station house where officer rand paul holder worked. police say the man of she did is accused of shooting him down and killing him as a career criminal and he was arraigned in court last night. the nypd made their presence known inside that courtroom. nypd officers filled the courtroom during tyrone power's arraignment. the alleged cop killer collapsed to his knees during the proceeding and did not enter a plea. the nypd says howard has been arrested 28 times since he was 13.
