34 degrees. over the weekend, governor cuomo signed a executive order requiring all homeless people to be moved from the streets to shelters when temperatures drop . he says it's all about establishing a universal statewide standard . some are wondering if the mayor is on board . >> it's not like i choose to be out here. i would rather be inside where i was not cold. she is homeless and pregnant and she is afraid of violence that shelters have so the cold sidewalk is where she spends the night. >> there's a lot of drugs being sold in people being robbed. you have to sleep on top of your pocketbook . people will steal your personal items. reporter: he released an executive order forcing people into shelters and temperatures hit the freezing mark .sites risk of hypothermia and death.
