loan nypd car, there was a far larger emergency response last night. this is the latest strange twist in a presidential race unlike any we have ever seen. police confirmed a suspicious letter containing powder arrived at numb 100 central park south. cops responded at 7:15, authorities removed the letter and were testing it. they cannot confirm the recipient of the letter but reports say it was measured -- mailed to eric trump. the letter reportedly threatened harm to donald trump's children if trump does not withdraw from the presidential race. nobody was hurt. the suspicious letter arrived the same day the hacker group anonymous claims to have released donald trump's cell

ben: high levels of lead were found in public school drinking water. thousands of children will be tested across the city. teresa has reaction. >> reporter: registration forms are stacked, needles are ready, a roll of smiley stickers awaits, parents and children of newark public schools. the voluntary testing continues for students who may have been exposed to toxic levels of lead in the water at school. >> you hear something. >> reporter: 17,000 students are eligible for blood testing. the state is starting with ages one through 6, those most susceptible to contamination. the problem came to light after unusually high lead levels in half of district schools, reports that some children have gotten sick with lead poisoning but unclear if it came from the water at school.
