you at your fingertips all the time for you at fox35orlando.com. >> john: developing right now, six people are recovering after an overnight gas leak. >> amy: at an apartment building at walden circle. fox 35's jackie orozco has the latest on what happened out there. good morning, jackie. >> reporter: good morning. firefighters say it was all because of a generator. they said that the apartment complex in question is undergoing renovation. a total of six people were treated for carbon monoxide poisoning. at the walden palms condominiums. a family of four at an apartment building, which is under renovation, drove themselves to the hospital when they felt sick. they received a call in reference of a gas leak. construction workers left a generator on which produced that gas and poisoned six people with carbon monoxide. the firefighters said two more

hospital after they evacuated. the six people treated are expected to be okay. the firefighters wanted to thank the nurses who diagnosed the family and found out it was carbon monoxide poisoning because they were the decisions, and why they were made to evacuate. >> amy: the woman who sued casey anthony for defamation has bonded out of jail. >> john: she is charged with credit card fraud. >> reporter: they are accused of racking up more than $800 of charge on a cancer patients credit card in kissimmee. the investigation started in mid-december. osceola county deputies received a complaint that his 64-year-old friend in the hospital for cancer treatment got a call from his bank about suspicious

gonzalez and her boyfriend admitted to going on a two day shopping spree. >> they told the be detectives the locations where they went to make the purchases and they said they did it out of desperation. >> reporter: they were apparently cleaning the room and came across the credit card. they could face up to five years in prison. >> john: also developing right now. a missing child could be in danger. >> amy: the boy's father is desperate to find his son. 3-year-old zander quigley disappeared from his home. he is believed to be with his mother and her boyfriend who was is escapee from prison.

the economy is improving and bus drivers are finding different careers. there are 64 routes of regular bus drivers out of 916 total routes. seminole has 25 to 30 opens. and orange county considers later start times which would require more bus drivers and routes. >> amy: volusia county school district will reduce testing by 50 hours for the remained ever of the school year. it brings the county in line with neighboring districts. the school board will hold a workshop to talk about future changes. >> john: a tornado ripped through coconut creek. cellphone video captured the intensity of the storm which hit in the morning. it tore roofs off buildings and

the winds were at 100 miles per hour. they had a rough day yesterday, and now getting hit again today. what about us? >> jayme: we have the live local radar. far south florida again frisky looking squall line has moved through east of everglades city and will move into the can he west area, like literally right now, and marathon, and then everybody north of the point. going to get hit pretty hard. a pretty vigorous line. we're watching that. and, of course, back here at home, the first wave of rain has moved through orlando and helping to slicken up the streets. it's measurable. light to moderate nature. another area reloading on the western edge of i-4. polk county, and then on top of the metro. north of orlando, and then leesburg and eustis, things are quieter. and gainesville ocala, not much going on today. but you will like will see

late morning or early afternoon hours likely. western edge of orlando metro, 62. and brooksville in the mid-60s north of tampa. sea fog now developing. the panhandle, off short of tampa, and then moving towards kissimmee, st. cloud, and the theme park areas. we have a lot going on. the fog is quite thick at this time. here's a live look at the visit orlando tower cam. there's port orlando, as john pointed out. we have had moments of dense fog moving across the region. it's been rather transient. it's moving all around and up and down. know that for the morning commute. roadways are slick, and the rain chances continue to rise to 60 to as high as 80% when all said and done. and we're going to get this

sunshine as we head near friday. the weekend looking great. saturday, sunday, into next week, and highs will be in the 80s. if you like it warm, i have your forecast. tonight, evening showers. clearing late. 52 by 5:00 a.m. tomorrow morning. partly cloudy. and may be trending a little breezy tomorrow and then early saturday morning. after that, the wind lays down and then the sun comes out and the conditions will be glorious. the main emphasis of rain shifting through orlando. a flood watch across portions of south florida due to all of the rain yesterday and what's anticipated for later today. the model shows by 8:00 p.m., to 9:00 p.m., rain scouring out and clearing back in. we're looking good again for friday. that sets the stage for tremendous weather saturday and sunday. we start the drying process.

she's in detroit. good to see you. >> reporter: good morning. it's an important issue. especially right now. in february we go red and talk about heart health awareness, especially when it comes to women. so many women don't understand that heart disease is our number one killer. they want to point out and make sure it's very clear that women know. the symptoms will not be the same as a man's. and in some cases doctors have to catch up with some of this. women are under-treated and under-diagnosed. that's a real problem. when you are having a heart attack, it's not going to be -- it might not be a big dramatic, are you grasping your heart and falling to the floor. that's not necessarily a heart attack. a heart attack can be back pain, it can be nausea, it can be palpitations, chest pain. so there are a lot of subtle symptoms that you really have to

>> amy: deena, why is it that heart attacks tented to beer who -- tend to be more severe for women than men? >> reporter: there's some theory that because our blood vessels are smaller that it's harrer for the blood. so hearted attack is when blood flow is cut off from one of the main arteries to your heart. that happens in a heart attack. the theory is, because we have smaller vessel, it's harder to restore the blood flow. you get on blood sthinners, clot busters or medications or if it's real bad they go in with a stint and open it up. the goal is the same, getting the blood flow back into the heart. a lot of women don't recognize it. women feel funky. and they think, i will just lay

sunshine, and good looking weekend weather. the cold front will drop down to our south. and the computer simulation as to what may play out weather-wise. the heaviest rain by about 1:30 shifting southbound. this sets the precedent, the overall trending in regard to rainfall getting in here through the remainder of the day, through the mid-and late afternoon. you can see real light showers and maybe a few pockets of drizzle as the front continues its trek down to far sownt florida. it should help to alleviate the rainy mess for just about everybody across the state. you can see on water vapor. pinpoint and highlight the rainy air versus the dryer cooler air mass. and it's dropping in and coming to an area near you. let's see what 1 looks like the for seven-day forecast. i say perfecto for the weekend. we're looking for the temperatures to move on down into the 60s. cool again tomorrow behind the

the students fill out the tests in different ways depending on the disability. some of the students can only indicate the answer with a small noise or blinking their eyes. the school district investigation alleges fairchild filled out some answers for four of her students. despite the is students disabilities, they said it's all about honesty. >>ggoi basically, this boils down to cheating, if you really want to call it that. the biggest lesson for all of us is that it's never appropriate to cheat. that's basically what happened here. we teach our students to be honest. >> reporter: this is so interesting. fairchild has not admitted to doing anything wrong here. she didn't go to work during the investigation. the missed days counted towards her 20-day suspension. she's back in the classroom at maplewood elementary. i don't know how they were to fill out their own sheets if
