same time yesterday, they had tornado warnings. there could be more of the same in the next couple of hours. temperatures 50's over north central. 60's orlando metro and out west in the tampa bay. high rain chances but after 4:00 or 5:00, chances spiral out, crash on out, heading down. the weekend looking fantastic. get a load of this seven-day forecast. finally warming back up. 80's are coming back as soon as monday. 82 tuesday. that will be the next best chance of rain. looks like about 20%. nothing higher than that at least at this juncture. john: 80's. i love the 80's. thank you. back to that breaking news in broward county. one person now being treated for injuries following a train derailment. it's at trirail alerts. it's a train with about 40 people on board at the time and

departed from miami international airport and was heading to magnolia park. that's a live look. we'll watch it throughout the morning. also developing right now in orange county, six people recovering following an overnight gas leak in orlando. amy: it started at an apartment building on walden circle about 3:00 this morning. fox 35's jackie orozco is near the scene. reporter: good morning. six people were treated for carbon monoxide poisoning at the apartment complex behind me in the yellow building. it's clear right now, but the six people were treated at the walden palms condominiums. let's look at some video so you can see. firefighters and orlando police were here around 2:40 this morning. firefighters say construction workers left a generator on, which produced a gas and in turn six people were affected and had that carbon monoxide poisoning. now, police say a family of four

which is under renovations, drove themselves to the hospital firefighters evacuated the building and found two more people were taken to the hospital for the same reasoning. again, six people were treated poisoning. they are expected to be ok. we're staying in touch with management to find out what the next steps are. once we have that, we'll let you know. reporting in orlando, jackie orozco, fox 35 news. john: the republican presidential hopefuls getting geared up for the final debate before the iowa caucuses. amy: donald trump says he will not be there. he does not want to be on the stage. he's not happy with megyn kelly. caroline shively is live. reporter: pundits in washington are split on whether this move is a good idea or not. on the plus side, everyone is

mid december when deputies received a complaint from a man that his 64-year-old friend who was in the hospital for cancer treatment got a call about his bank having suspicious activity. detectives say gonzalez and her boyfriend admit to cleaning those rooms, finding his credit card and then going on a two-day shopping spree. investigation. they told detectives all the locations that they went to make those purchases and they said they did that out of desperation. reporter: they are being cooperative. the boyfriend right now still locked up. if investigators find them guilty, they could face up to five years in prison. back to the studio. john: the search continues for a missing child who authorities say may be in danger. amy: the boy's father is desperate to find his son. 3-year-old xander quigley disappeared from palm coast on friday. he is believed to be with the

and her boyfriend, gary bullock. bullock is a convicted criminal who escaped from a work releases program. that is why the volusia county sheriff's office has been active in the search to find xander. we did speak with william quigley, xander's father, about what happened. he says he's still in shock. >> i knew natasha was seeing this guy, but i didn't know he had contact with my son at all. so it surprised me. amy: arrest warrants have been issued now for both natasha quigley and her boyfriend, gary bullock. john: now a health alert. more details about the zika virus. luanne joins us with more information. reporter: there are now more than a dozen confirmed cases in the united states. eight states, including florida, have been hit by the mosquito-borne virus. that includes two people in miami-dade county and one person over in the tampa area. everyone tested positive in this had travelled to an infected

the virus is impacting latin america and caribbean countries. it can cause birth defects. the c.d.c. says they do not plan to issue a quarantine for those here in the united states, even though the virus could spread. >> the idea of endemic transmission in the united states is within the realm of possibility. reporter: zika could be transmitted if a local mosquito bites someone with this virus and then spreads it to the next person. president obama is calling on researchers to step up their efforts to find and prevent this virus from spreading here in the united states. john, back to you. john: 30 years ago today the shuttle challenger exploded shortly after takeoff, killing the six astronauts and one teacher on board. today the kennedy space center is holding a day of remembrance. amy: the day is meant to honor the crews of apollo 1 and the shuttle's challenger and

calorie count, but most don't. reporter: you could have a ph.d. in nutrition and not know how many calories. do you want to take a stab at how much is in this louisiana chicken pasta bowl? amy: i know what restaurant that's from. i'm going to say probably 2,500. john: 1,150. i don't know. reporter: sounds way off. you're close. it's a little more than 2,000. amy: wow. reporter: you would look at that and think, that's not bad. the researchers from the university listed more than 350 restaurants and they did chain restaurants -- they measured the calories. we're talking entrees, not the appetizers and dessert. just in the dinner entree how many calories there were. how many should you be getting? a dietitian says aim for 500

get to 2,000 a day, at least for women. when you go out, they are finding that these restaurant meals are 1,000 calories and in certain types of food, american, chinese, and italian, the entrees are on average 1,500 calories per entree. so -- amy: wow. reporter: the problem is the portions and the ingredients. we've got your louisiana chicken pasta from cheesecake factory. this is over 2,000 calories. if you get this, you can't just split this once. you've got to take your whole family and split it four ways. amy: that's crazy because -- go ahead. reporter: this one has melon in it. it's a shrimp with melon. because the melon is in it, you think it sounds healthy.

this is the baked ziti from olive garden. more than 1,200 calories. when you get more than two or three cheeses, you know you're in trouble. the idea is to split the food or at least know when you're eating out, know what you are in for, because it is so hard to tell from just eyeballing it. amy: no kidding. it's frightening, really. so either do the half portion or split it with somebody or do the lunch portion. a lot of times they do the lunch portion. that helps. reporter: that's a really good idea. or get the to-go box as soon as your food comes because if it's sitting in front of you, you're going to pick on it. you get the box to go. if you don't want to appear like a big cheap skate, order your food, get the to-go box and immediately put half or 2/3 into the box. that way, you can still enjoy

some people in orlando recovering after falling ill from carbon monoxide poisoning overnight. orlando police tell us construction workers left a generator on at the apartment. the apartment was undergoing renovations. the exhaust got six people sick before the building was evacuated around 3:00 this morning. police say all victims are expected to be ok. amy: the fight to legalize medical marijuana is headed back to the ballot. it will be there on the november ballot. united for care has gained more than enough signatures to get the issue on there. they got 10,000 more than needed. the group fell just shy two years ago. headlines. studios. how are things shaping up this thursday? >> dow is up 127 points. oil is up 4%. it's near $35 a barrel.

there's a report that the big oil-producing countries will meet next month, which is next week. talk about potentially cutting back on production because we have too much oil on the market. if they cut back, the price of oil would go up, which is happening right now in anticipation. john: we don't like that. we like it to go down. next up, a new -- >> to a certain extent. john: uber service for kids. we were debating this. i don't know if i would put my kids in a car with somebody i don't know. what's the background on this? >> what if the driver the stranger, was properly vetted by the management team, they had a background check performed, fingerprint tests, you name it. if that were the case, would you feel comfortable?

you twist them and they become their own weapon. amy: sometimes the manipulator doesn't realize they are doing it. >> not all the time. but when it's really |`| nefarious, they do. amy: perhaps you x aren't aware that you are in this situation. the first, your conflicts never feel realized. >> the person is good at deflecting. so you bring up a n issue | and they are able to sideswipe it and deflect it to something else. let's just enjoy the day, not worry about, and then it never gets resolved because you're put in a situation that you can't continue what you really need to do. amy: is that a si they {{ ` something or maybe >> but sometimes people are justish `` -- selfish and want their way.

partner hurts and you end up apologizing? i'm done this before. why am i apologizing? >> that situation where they have done something to you and you say something to them about it and then they say, you know, you've really made me feel bad about myself and you have hurt my feelings. that is such manipulation. it happens with peers. there are people who can bring on the tears and really twist it and really get you. amy: master manipulator. next, you say that you have done things that perhaps -- you do things to make you uncomfortable with conflict. >> everybody should have boundaries. so, for example, in finances, let's say your financial boundaries are of such that you don't do this and then they make you feel guilty for not helpingem out of a jam that they got

amy: you end up going along and you bought a $50,000 car, but you know you can't afford it. >> and you hate yourself for it. amy: finally, they don't answer your questions directly. >> everything is general, everything is somewhat cryptic, everything is somewhat nebulous and they can't look you in the eye and say, yes, no. it's an interesting thing. some people are masters of it. amy: again, you wonder what are they hiding. you get so accustomed to being dealt with that way, that you just give up. >> some people are so selfish in relationships that they don't want to be bothered with your stuff. you are hear to be a benefit to them. they are not here to be a benefit to you. like the old song, love on a two-way street, some relationships only go one way. amy: there's a lot of narcissism involved. >> without question.
