it's scary out there, lu. >> reporter: it is. a very scary story. royal anthem of the seas was hit by a storm. where the yellow dot is off the course of florida. arriving just after 12:01. and we'll be there. and royal caribbean sent us this statement. the anthem of the seas is experienced extreme wind with wind speeds higher than what was forecasted. in an abundance of caution, the captain asked all guests to stay in state rooms until the weather improved. there have not been serious injuries reported at this time. the ship sustained damage to public areas and guest rooms which in no way affects the sea worthiness of the ship, end quote. here are some of the tweets sent

you can see tables and chairs overturned and huge wave it's outside of the ship. now there are reports that waves reached heights of 30 feet. the anthem of the seas left new jersey on saturday only to get caught on category two hurricane force winds. the u.s. coast guard is saying they did not receive a distress call from the ship. as they said earlier, the ship is expected to arrive at port canaveral after noon today and we'll be there to get reaction from the passengers. >> amy: new this morning, we have new video from the scene of a deadly double shooting that we told you about as breaking news last night. orlando police were checking out the area of robert trent jones drive after ged getting reports of gunshots. officers found the bodies of two men which appear to have been shot to death. neither man has been identified. they don't have any suspects or witnesses to the shootings.

>> amy: building a ucf campus downtown. >> john: fox 35's andrea jackson has the latest o what's going on. it's chilly but the discussion is heating up. good morning, aj. >> reporter: good morning. the city of orlando plans to contribute $75 million to ucf's downtown campus project, if all goes as planned. they'll start to talk about the terms of the agreement today. let's go to the video and give you a few more numbers. orlando has agreed to pledge $42 million in land and property alone in addition to road and sewer work. seeking approval from the board of governors to build 165,000 square foot building in the fall of 2018 as part of the creative village in downtown orlando. also seeking $20 million from the state. the city gives you 15 acres and the $22.5 million expo center currently being used by ucf. the mayor said it's another step in the right direction for

>> reporter: reuters is reporting this morning that the united states olympic committee told athletes concerned about the zika virus to consider not going to the olympic games in rio in august. that shows that officials are taking the zika threat in rio de janeiro very seriously. brazil is ground zero for the virus. 1.5 million cases reported thus far. the concern is that mosquitoes carrying the virus can carry birth defects.( but it's not stopping brazilians and tourists from taking part in carney valle right now. they're screening blood donors now. >> for seeka virus -- for zika. we know that some people don't have symptoms. in conjunction with the american association of blood bank, and not just us, blood thinners
