you can find the latest information on our website-- "fox 35 orlando dot com." or you can download the fox 35 news app on your phone. gugents in orange county are heading back to 0 school this morning-- after a scare on campus. a 17-year-old student was arrested after he brought a gun to wekiva high school in his backpack. administrators say they got a phone tip about the gun from another student. the school was put on lockdown and dismissal was delayed. `aa`@b``a`````pp all after school activities were also canceled. no one was hurt and the student was quickly arrested. deputies are monitoring social media for any other possible threats. in volusia county-- a daytona beach teen is recovering in the hospital...after being stabbed --over % say-- is a turf war. it happened monday afternoon on sheridan road. police say a group of kids started fighting...and the `lxxw||`|x8tt victim stepped in to break it up. that is when he was

two other teens were arrested.. and are now facing felony charges. rext time a bear hunt happens in florida... hunters could have more protection. but...it is protection of their personal information. a bill is being backed by a senate committee that `` would shield the personal information of hunters who apply `` for licenses from the "florida fish and ``hhhh wildlife conservation commission." under the bill-- mm ocial security numbers... dates of birth... addresses.. and telephone numbers would be blocked from public record. state senator --alan hays-- sponsors the bill ..and says it @p would protect gun owners. @ if the bill is d-- it would go into effect on july 1st. p*iqnow-- crews are getting

vandenberg air force base in california. it is a secret mission for the u-s government for national defense. the rocket is carrying a payload for the "national reconnaissance office." launch conditions are great right now. there is a zero percent chance of weather keeping the rocket on the ground. the launch is set to happen at 6:39 this morning. in osceola county-- :*..police found several credit card skimmers onn gas pumps. police inspected all 28 gas stations in kissimmee for skimmers-- after finding four devices last week. police say one inspector even found a bluetooth skimmer. a person could download the data from it-- without ever opening the gas pump. inspectors say most skimmers are placed on the outside pumps-- where cashiers can not see. kissimmee police say @`@_|?xy they plan to do sweeps-- like this one-- routinely. happening today-- orlando police are stepping-up enforcement... to make the city's cross-walks safer for kids. extra patrols will be cracking-down on

after his successful night.... the video is all over social media. what did you think about last night's winners? let us know by using #g-d-o. a volusia county k-9 chased down a suspect, yesterday, two hours after he was honored in a ceremony. "endo" the dog-- was on a call-- about a car driving eradically. the car took off ..and the chase ended in brevard county. "endo" caught one of the suspect-- as he was running away. earlier in the day-- "endo" was honored for his miraculous recovery-- three months after he was shot in the neck. sheriff ben johnson gave him a medal of valor .. and a purple heart. the shooting happened when "endo" and his partner --- deputy brett whitson --- were responding to a domestic disturbance call. one of the suspects ran away ..and shot "endo" in the neck, before taking his own life. deputy whitson says "endo" did everything he was

deputies are still looking into the accidental shooting-- that killed a 13 year old boy. that story tops our morning rush. yesterday, we learned lavardo fisher died monday. deputies say the teen was playing video games at a relatives home on spottswood drive y. an older teen got a hold of a gun, and they started playing with it. the gun went off, hitting fisher in the head. deputies say the gun that the older teens were playing with belongs to -walter morame. investigators say he's a convicted felon. he was not home at the time. he's been charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. police at the "university of florida" are searching for a man who has been exposing himself to female students. officers say it has happened six times off campus-- and four times on campus. police are

patrols-- and asking for help--as they look for the man. a follow up from brevard county-- a mother whale and her calf are back out at sea, after sebastian inlet. the right whale and her baby were spotted swimming under the bridge to freedom yesterday afternoon. authorities believe people standing on the bridge may have scared the whales from swimming back out sooner. developing this morning-- a catholic school in leesburg is expected 5open today. classes were cancelled yesterday-- after several students and staff members got sick with the flu. fox 35's tiffany teasley has the details.

at the stories making headlines florida. in polk county-- a case of shoplifting takes a bizarre twist... when the suspect collapses and dies! pw9ed on sunday morning... at a walmart in lakeland. police say 64-year- old kenneth wisham was in the middle of stealing 380-dollars worth of d-v-ds-- when employees confronted him.. and he collapsed. emergency workers tried to resuscitate him-- but he died some 12 hours later. the medical examiner is now working to figure- out wisham's exact cause of death. walmart says the employees-- who chased the suspect -- have been temporarily suspended until police finish their investigation. in st. pete-- a stolen piece of art has re-appeared... just as mysteriously
