trump and bernie sanders wins in new hampshire could have a major impact on their race to the white house much let talk about what is happening outside. >> you just meld right in. good morning. i'll tell you what, orlando has dropped four or five degrees in the last hour. got a cold front moving through at this moment sending temperatures falling over the northern tier. it matches up with the current freeze warning for north central florida many all of flagler, alachua, and marion counties, a lot of cold air continues on the rampage to the western side of the state through the big bend, even our coastal communities, while there's no warnings, we have a freeze watch because late tonight through tomorrow morning may be the coldest stretch all week long. i'm waiting for data to come in, so we'll continue to update you. there is an active freeze watch for late tonight and thursday

here's how it shakes out right now in the new hampshire primary. on the republican side, trump receiving 35% of the votes, john kasich at second with 16%, ted cruz in third with 12%, jeb bush and marco rubio tying at fourth, both capturing 11% of the vote. on the democratic side, bernie sanders did win as expected with 60% to hilary clinton's 38%. new hampshire officials that records were broken with the huge turnout of voters, hours were sentenced extended, traffic of heavy are cars blocked up for blocks. caroline shively has the story from new hampshire this morning. >> it's just too late for the same old, same old establishment politics and establishment economics. >> a big win for senator bernie sanders after his narrow loss in iowa, and a big blow to hilary

the student was immediately@ba`` arrested. about 3,000 students attend the high school. >> to wand and scan that many students through metal detecters is logistically impoise possible for us. we start to monitor social media because learn of so many threats on social media. we have great relationships with the law enforcement officers, but at the end of the day, every tip we get comes for a fellow student, a parent or somebody in the community that hears of a threat. >> social media continues to be one of their best weapons of defense in the school district. deputies and school official also continue to keep a close eye on social media for any possible threats. >> in volusia county, daytona beach police are saying that a turf war led to a teen being|`|tt stabbed earlier this week t

monday afternoon on sheridan road. a group of kids started to fight and that the victim stepped this to break it up, that's when he was stabbed. two other teenagers are facing felony charge. happening today, orlando police officers are stepping up enforcement to make the city's crosswalks safer for kids. extra patrols will be cracking down on for those who fail to yield at intersections and schools this morning. if you're pulled over, you'll get a warning letter this once. if you're caught again, you'll get a 164-dollar fine along with three points on your driver's license. >> news alert right now. crews are getting ready to launch a rocket out in california. here's video of a similar launch in 2014, should look familiar because it's dark out there. it's part of a mission for the government for national defense. it's carrying a paid load for the national reconnaissance office.

people are being told that there's a warrant out for their arrest because they missed jury duty or they owe money to the irs. the victims are then talked into giving out their bank account information or even wiring money. the ocala star banner reports one victim was tricked into giving the scammers more than $5,000. >> a volusia county sheriff's k9 honored while taking a bullet is all ready back on the job for fighting crime. >> endo the dog wasted no time getting back to work hours after he got the purple heart. he chased down another suspect. endo was honored yesterday, three months after shot in the neck. he was shot when deputies responded to a domestic call in deltona in november. a man shot and wounded his girlfriend, then fired at deputies, hitting endo. the sheriff gave him a medal of valor and a purple heart.

a chiller from the upper midwest to eastbound, denver at 38, el pasco 37 and phoenix at 57 degrees. around these parts, it's cold. there's no getting around that. thirtys and low and mid 40s. we talk about the feels like temperature, it's alive and well. look at the deference from yesterday, 24 hours ago, it's a big switch up with the cold frontal passage yesterday and yet another system on top of the area that is plowing through orlando metro. winds switch back to the west and northwest keeping us nice and chilly, but not any rainfall and the cloud cover is starting to dim initial dim minute nirchlt a freeze warning for ocala, gainesville, flagler county in the blues, and the purple blue is showing a freeze watch that goes into effect potentially late tonight

be upgraded to a freeze warning for viewers and residents in sumter, including bushnell and wildwood. it will be a cold one for sure. looking for scattered frost as well as with winds. this morning, it may be widespread. the windchill factor, 25 at gainesville, orlando 40, low 40s or feels like temperature through the areas of the space coast and south of that point. that front dropping south, you look north of that, yeah, we're looking good. look at the hourly forecast for today. we have the sun, we've got the breeze, and we've got another day of cool temps. in the 50s today. we see the sun go down, it will drag the temperatures with it. it will be a clear, cold one tonight.

tomorrow morning and as we reach sunrise, back down to the 30s and maybe to the upper 30s by 8:00 o'clock tomorrow morning, and that southerly wind showing there's more of a transition now toward warmer temperatures as we head through the next couple of i think you'll liect numbers coming up. wednesday forecast for the golfers, windy and chilly, 50s all day long and another day of gusty winds and that will hardly help the golf game forked. gust at 25 at times. the winds collapse and we see lighter winds. there's a secondary system on friday and into saturday, that will enhance the winds behind it and drop temperatures by about sunday, but nothing like nothing we have seen. there isn't a lot of cold air surging south with the next system and the rain chances looking flat for the back end of this week, friday, into saturday, sunday, we should maintain dry skies. i think by late sunday the clouds will increase and the

bring to you live on "good day orlando". they're way far away. let's see what weather is looking like in florida. jamye king, it's chilly here. >> it is. it will be cool to see it head up to the heafnts. it seems like we do it all the time. the temperatures are up and up at least in orlando, gainesville a good solid 31 degrees, 30 ot ocala, same at palm coast, and that matches up nicely with our freeze warning this morning for again, marion, alachua and all of flagler county county. a cold scene. that area late tonight, thursday morning for the bushnell area outlined in the blue, that's a freeze watch looking at conditions as we ramp up ahead through tonight and tomorrow morning, we may get down to the freezing washing.

break on kennedy road westbound to gabriel, the westbound lanes are closed down. we have a crew on the scene and she's going to show us what people are dealing with out. hey, jackie. >> good morning. workers shoo be workers should be out here to fix the water main break. it's affecting a block between johnson street and north college afternoon. this break happened sometime yesterday evening or past 7:00 p.m.. councilman eddie coal was out here to help an officer open eastbound lanes since it's only affecting the traffic from the west. they say this water main break happened over the summer and now again, and this is what he told us. >> we had an incident happen like this, this past summer and we thought it was fixed and

they went on a wild crime spree. >> police say they robbed a tourist at a outlet mall, pistol whipped a uber driver and another driver. nat y'all woods and john powell are in jail right now. it started on sunday when they robbed a man outside of the outlets on i-drive. the two shoved the victim down because he did not speak english, then stole his cell phone and backpack. ten minutes later, the two pistol whipped a uber driver. they then spotted them in a car that was involved in a carjacking. they led the police on a chase until they crashed in orlando. they said items that belong to the tourist were found inside of the car. they took them into custody and believe the two are behind other robberies as well. >> a health alert. the high number of students and staff in a federal florida school has the flu. >> we're finding out what the

bring you the latest. >> the right whale and her calf that were spotted in sebastian inlet on monday, they're now back in the ocean. >> but baby and mother hung out in the inlet for more than a day. the area was shut down to boaters who were hoping that the mom would lead the baby back auto to sea. it several times it looked like she would, but didn't. finally, yesterday afternoon the two swam under the bridge and then back out into the atlantic. dozens of people were there to watch. >> the way it turned around, did you see it? it went. it was worth it. that's just awesome. >> authorities believe that the people standing on the bridge may have scared the whales from swimming back out. people must stay 500-yard as way from the right whales or they risk getting fined. so officers cleared the catwalk under the bridge and two hours
