truck and the jeep in front of the house. police were called to the winter park home in response to a possible shooting, on state road 945 and when they arrived found a young man in the yard of the home and the other man near a sidewalk. shots were fired and both unresponsive when the police arrived and pronounced police don't have information with regard to a motive for the shooting and haven't named a suspect. they said, though, neighbors do not need to worry about a shooter on the loose. >> the investigation now is obviously ongoing. we don't feel there is anybody at large that would be a threat to the public, at this point but we can't rule out anything at this point. in the investigation. >> reporter: the evidence markers were picked up about 6:30 a.m. and the fire crews were out here to help with police. cleaned up the scene and no names were released and we don't know about a motive however expect the information to be released later today. in winter park, andrea jackson, fox 35 news. >> amy: new this morning, orange county deputies are investigating a dog attack, happened just before 3:00 a.m.

in apopka. the sheriffs office tells us the victim was bitten by a pit bull and deputies haven't said how serious the injuries are if the dog was a het. >> john: orange county a woman accused of abandoning her newborn baby right after giving birth remains in jail. luanne joins us in studio with the latest on the search for the baby. >> luanne: good morning, susan richardson, yawned and stretched in court yesterday when the judge told her she was charged with child neglect. monday police say she give bairt to a baby girl in her apartment and then took the baby to the parking lot of the willow bend apartments next-door. when they found proof of the with in the lot, investigators say she's not telling them where the baby is. police spent the day yesterday, searching for baby willow but . we spoke to richardson's boyfriend, johnnie bryant and he says that she told him first that she had a miscarriage and he called 911. after admitting that she did

through. >> amy: especially when he came home from the olympics and i -- i didn't realize he died when he was 66. it was 1980 when he died and it was before you were born, right. >> amy: but your father was very close with him, that's right. >> that was his uncle and they had a very close relationship and i rob my sister who is 8 years older than me used to spend her summers there in arizona. tucson and it is -- like i said, it is surreal, and to watch the movie and looking at his parents and, those are my great grandparents! and one of the photos at the end of the movie, is of the house and i thought, those are photos of our house. and growing up we didn't talk about it you a lot. my dad never played it up. just another family member. >> amy: a very famous family member. >> and i never thought about it until i saw the movie and i thought, wow! there is something to be proud of. you know? >> amy: huge. >> yeah, it is.

columbus and you watched the movie. with some of this actors from movie and relatives, which is cool, a family reunion? >> yes. i met gloria, his oldest daughter, met her for the first time and never met her before, there is such an age gap between them and us and it was cool to see them again and, you know, talk to them and, the q and a that day on ohio state campus, and obviously that is where he went to school and a lot of students got a chance to participate and get a chance to meet with the stars of the movie and really hear the story. it was a great experience. >> amy: i want to show some of the pictures shannon sent us, pictures we were able to put together so you at home could see. these are priceless photos from your family. and here's one of them, and tell me about this photo. >> well, that is my grandmother, pearline, the youngest child, jesse's baby sister. they were very close and that is my grandfather, haywood, and

i really did. i mean, it was -- what was great was, it was a heavy moment in history and they did a great job infusing humor and really showing his personality. and, just the human side of him. you have to remember he was 22 years old when all of this happened and had a wife and had a daughter. that was a lot on him as a 22-year-old to carry the pressure of the world, you know, at one point, they considered not going to the olympics and there were protests about going and the n.a.a.c.p. leadership didn't want him to go, either, an interesting piece they highlighted in the movie, showing how big of a decision it was for him to even go to the olympics and just all of the pressure that he was under, performing in that moment, so... >> amy: how he was treated when he came back. i think a lot of people don't realize, he came back a national hero but also came back a second class citizen in many ways? >> i loved how they ended the movie. because they ended the movie with him coming back and there was a dinner thrown for him and

of 100 million and looks like we broke it! great! a crime alert. orange county a man and woman attacked and robbed three university of central florida students. >> john: the story tops the morning rush. investigators say it happened tuesday night. at the collegiate village apartments. deputies say the crooks forced their way in and the man started pun offing one of the victims. the victims say the woman had a stun gun and threatened to use it. then, the suspect stole a laptop, cell phone and wallets and got away. >> amy: orange county deputies released a video of a chase they say they were going after 24-year-old nathaniel woods and 37-year-old john powell earlier this month. the men are accused of robbing a tourist near the orlando premium outlets, assaulting an uber driver and driving in a car involved in a carjacking. authorities cat up with them after the suspects crashed. >> john: brevard county now reporting the first case of the zika virus, not contracted here in central florida. though, florida has 22 cases and
