the cusp of about 60 degrees. and a nice morning overall. and a few snowflakes flying across the rest of the nation. fairly benign picture. not a lot going on. until we see another low come ripping out of the rockies. and that energy drops southbound and begin to change our weather world big time into tuesday. of note, it looks like wednesday could be a very, very active day taking shape. the cloud cover on top with the close proximity of the front. sun and clouds. and clouds win the weather war, of course. and accuweather hour by hour times and temps. increase in clouds and isolated rain chance, especially later on in the afternoon and internal by the -- certainly by the evening, up to 30%, and 40% tomorrow. and higher on wednesday.

in the area the during this time. i will outline what this means to the forecast, coming up. >> gina: sky fox is over the earlier crash at obt and americana. traffic is moving through. it's still partially shut down in the area. we have traffic flowing. so that's good news. the crash is almost completely cleared. and i want to bring you out to breaking traffic news. out in volusia county we have a crash neardyson drive. all westbound lanes currently shut down. i-4 westbound near dirkson. significant delays in both directions. i would suggest taking 17-92 as an alternate route. and another crash at sand lake and partially blocked at sun port. not causing significant delays but be aware going through the area.

things looking smooth except for the patch i just told you about. i-4 eastbound from the attractions to downtown, 13 minutes. the 408 is up to speed well. >> amy: brevard county sheriff's office is working to determine what happened after two bodies were found in a home. >> john: it happened in a home on merritt island. fox 35's dana jay has more. >> reporter: here's what we know so far. brevard county fire and rescue called to this home, 7 indian street here in merritt island late last night. two people dead inside. the sheriff's office took over the investigation from here. they're calling this is death investigation at this point. no word on whether or not there was foul play or who was found dead. although maybes tell us that a

daughter live in the home. this is still a very much developing story as we work to learn who was killed, how they were killed and whether or not there are any suspects this morning. as we get any more information, we'll bring it to you. but for now, live in merritt island, dana jay. >> john: crews are draining a pond in orange county as they continue the search for baby willow. >> amy: just east of the willow bend apartments on silver star road and that's where the police believe that the baby was born and possibly discarded. last week the crews searched dumpsters and even the sewers but didn't find anything. the baby's mother, susan richardson, is not offering any information to help find the baby. she's being held on $50,000 bond. >> john: a man from orlando is asking for someone to come forward after his mother is hit and killed by a dirt bike.

near the intersections of powers and denton drives. the driver lost control and crashed into 59-year-old woman. both rushed to the hospital and both later died. louis ant's son spoke to us. >> she said she wses going to go down the street to buy something, and that was the last time i saw my mother. >> john: none of the other drivers involved stayed at the scene. >> john: right now the city collects trash twice a week and recycling every other week. people have long complained that the trash cans are only half full but the recycling bins are overflowing.

orange blossom trail is finally back open after a deadly hit-and-run. >> amy: they did eventually catch the driver who was responsible. fox 35's andrea jackson has more at the scene. good morning. >> reporter: good morning. the all lanes have been reopened. we just learned the identity of the man who caused the crash. >> troopers are at the hospital evaluating him. we're trying to see if alcohol is a factor in the crash, as we expect. right now we're technology the investigation. the big -- we're continuing the investigation. the deputies were able to locate the vehicle and the driver. we don't have to spend a lot of time now looking for him. >> reporter: looking at the intersection where the crash happened, around 3:00 a.m., red light cameras are at the intersection? >> there are. the vehicles were stopped at the red right when the crash occurred. we'll be looking at the video to

and southerly air flow rised northbound and comes to an area near you. clouds on the rise. i don't think we see rainfall tied to the increase in clouds. anything that manages to pop off in the form or fashion of a shower is isolated. 20 to 30%. later today and not meaningful once it developed. 50s running the spine of the space coast. up north too. coastal volusia and flagler. increasing clouds. isolated rain chance. 75 by 5:00 p.m. 679 by 8:00 a.m. and rain chances through the course of the next three days. a gradual increase in the chances with the highest by about wednesday. 50 to 60 to 70%. all depending on the timing. it has a little extra power to it. you can see that moving through

the question for republicans is whether they accept that nominee and they start hearings and they actually bring it up for a vote. republicans are dead set against this not happening, that they will not be filling the vacancy, no matter who the nominee is. they want the next president to decide. it's a process question of whether they go through the hearing and put it up for a vote. >> amy: what's the precedent for this? has this happened before in a situation where the president is in the last year of office and the other side says we're going to basically stalemate until the next person is in office? >> reporter: it has not happened this way. it's happened close to this. there have been appointments that have been made, nominations made, and then confirmations happening in an election year. but for a nomination to come

president's time in office, this is 80 years you have to go back to. >> amy: that's a long time. long before 24-hour media, that's for sure. and the candidates will be talking about this over and over and over again. we heard hillary and ted cruz sound off. do you think it'll just keep getting bigger? >> reporter: i do. i think this is going to be a major issue on the presidential campaign. when people list the issues they care about, the supreme court is not a big one. but in this scenario, where someone like antonio scalia who changed the face of the court and is one of the conservative linchpins, or was, on the bench, his vacancy and who replaces him could change the court for 25 to 30 years to come. that's an important issue. there's a lot of issues on all sorts of front, the supreme court does. >> amy: yes.
