to downtown orlando. >> amy: international drive back open to traffic after a crash shut things down for several hours. >> john: overnight the streets were flooded with waters after investigators said that a woman hit the area with her car. >> reporter: it's partially closed, but these are just workers here in the area. fhp troopers said that a driver passing by around 3:30 in the morning saw the water as high as 40 feet and called 911. they thought it was a fire hydrant. in fact, it was the water meter to the double tree hotel here on i-drive. there's a lot of debris and huge puddles of water. it took an hour to finally shut off the water main break.

fhp said slammed into the water meter was cited for careless driving and not knowing that she had a suspended license. she was taken to the hospital for back and neck pain complaints. and we're checking to find out if the water was affected at the hotel. it was not affected. the water was not shut off for them, so that's good news there. >> john: developing this morning, an 8-year-old boy is in the hospital after being hit by a car while out riding his bike. >> amy: titusville police said that the driver didn't even stop to make sure the dhield was aokay. it happened at alpine in titusville. the boy is at arnold palmer hospital here in orlando. >> reporter: when titusville firefighters got to the scene,

conscious. he was flown to arnold palmer with a head injury. he was stable, but at this point it unclear how pad the head injury is. it happened at 6:00 p.m. yesterday. the boy was riding his bike here when someone hit him and then just drove off. firefighters say he was not wearing a helmet at the time. the titusville police are currently investigating the incident. this morning we're learning that police may have found the driver responsible for the hit-and-run, according to a tweet sent out by the titusville fire department. we're working to get more information on that, and whole bring any updates as we get them. gina benitez, fox 35 news. >> john: police are investigating a separate deadly crash also in titusville. a man was hit and killed by a suv on old cheney highway.

the driver remained at the scene. >> amy: a gunman cho killed three and injured as many as 14 others had connection to our area. >> reporter: 38-year-old cedric ford carjacked someone and went on a violent ride. in the small town of newton, north of wichita. he shot anyone he saw as he drove to his job. when he got to the lawn mower factory, he opened fire on his coworkers and killed three of them. a lone police officer shot him and killed him. they are trying to figure out a motive. >> he was a nice guy when i worked with him on second shift. we hung out. everything was hunky-dory. didn't seem like this that kind of guy.

burglary and criminal mischief. now florida today said that the charges could carry hate crime enhancements which could carry a much longer sentence. >> john: two people who police said were in a super bowl crime spree are behind bars. they drove around orlando and robbed random people at gun point. >> amy: the police are not giving up the search for a missing baby girl. they will search for baby willow in new places. they said that 30-year-old susan richardson gave birth to the baby. they searched a pond and sewers in the area but have found nothing so far. richardson is charged with child neglect. they said that she has not been

it happened in titusville. fox 35's gina benitez has the latest on how he is doing. >> reporter: tmpleghts firefighters got to the scene. they said that they found the 8-year-old boy conscious but hurt. he was flown to arp held for palmer with a head injury. he was stable when he arrived. this all happened around 6:00 p.m. in titusville. the young boy was riding his bike here when someone hit him and took off. firefighters say he was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident. titusville police now currently investigating. this morning we're learning that police may have found the vehicle involved in the hit-and-run. that's according to a tweet sent out by the titusville fire department. we're working to find out more information and we'll bring you
