headed out to church. new this morning, we're learning a rookie cop who was shot and killed in virginia has a connection to daytona beach. she graduated with a bachelors degree in aeronautics. she was shot and killed during a confrontation stemming from a call. >> an angry mob turns on police in salt lake city after a teen was shot. police were responding to a call involving a fight and a 16-year-old with a brook mstick. they repeatedly told him to drop the stick and that's when they opened fire. >> our officers were responding to a situation down in front of the shelter here.

were shots fired. assistance. several people were agitated in the crowd. our officers started arriving on scene and encountered a lot of hostile people, upset about what had taken place. we began clearing the area, so that we could preserve this. >> the investigation into the shooting is currently underway. at this hour, we're getting look at a new video at a ku klux klan rally in southern california. three people were stabbed at the rally. one of them critically. the initial fight reportedly sparked several other fights. all of the victims stabbed were

a statewide amber alert was issued yesterday morning. cops caught up with a person of interest in fort pierce. according to investigators, taraji and her mother were asleep at a fort lauderdale home at 11:00 p.m. friday night. they say intruders came and kidnapped the baby, one of the intruders had a gun. after that amber alert and 17 hours later, thankfully that baby was found safely here in orange county in an apartment. we're working on trying to figure out when babe yes taraji y will be reunited with her mother. >> andrea: the search is on for a man who robbed a mcdonald's. just before 1:00 yesterday. the suspect described as a white male wearing a gray hoodie and

he implied he had an weapon and demanded cash. if you have any information, you are asked to call the winter park police department. three, 12-year-old girls from deltona middle school accused of spiking a teacher's soda are locked up. deputies say the suspected ring leader was seeking revenge after the teacher sent her to the principal's office for dumping glue in another's backpack. two put pepper in the soda. the teacher got sick from breathe. >> searchers found the body of william roble yesterday morning. the dive team recovered the body roble.
