they say he stole from a 12-year-old girl scout while he was selling cookies. >> the victim is a 12-year-old girl who as was out there working hard to raise money for her girl scout troop. to me, it's lower than your average theft. >> reporter: it happened at this walmart the in deltona on sunday afternoon. the man walked out of the store with a woman and young child. came back to the front where the cooky booth was locate involved. >> the male came back and swiped the cash box from the table where the girl was selling cookies. the deputies were flagged down. >> reporter: and the suspect walked which cannily to the -- which quickly to the parking lot and got into the hyundai santa fe. they're offering up to $5,000 award for any!c+ information leading to the air rest of the suspect. if you have that information, call deputies.

absolutely win their home states. donald trump is his biggest factor of people not dropping out. other candidates stop dropping out, his numbers will start to decline into next tuesday and other elections. it's a pivotal point, and we could see a victory coming out of today. >> reporter: great point. and marco rubio is not leading in any polls. many think he is next up behind trump. >> the fact that he has over the past few days had a strong attack on donald trump. showing that he realizes he needs to start winning. converted some second and third place finishes into seeming victories. he now needs to produce and win. over the past few days it's been amazing to you have with a the races. we have seen incredible attacks between marco rubio and donald trump. insults about stubby fingers, big ears.

what super tuesday results mean for florida's primary. >> amy: a man was hit and killed after a driver allegedly tried to outrun authorities. they have identified the victim as 23-year-old cody garrick. he was a pizza delivery driver making his last stop of the day early sunday morning. when this woman police said ran a red light at americana boulevard. hit his car, and killed him instant. he leaves behind a 3-year-old daughter. the 23-year-old suspect saint cyr was arrested. she was trying to get away from officers when she was pulled over for speeding. she is being held without bond. >> amy: questioning a local basketball coach wanted on child molestation charges. they believe that david white was trying to escape to mexico

a boy in malabar. he said that he worried that the allegations would ruin his reputation. some neighbors said that they were already concerned. >> kids were here all the time, constantly. he bragged to me about maybe three months ago about being in charge of the team, the league. something was very off. and it always has been. >> amy: are a few days after the allegations surfaced, deputies said they got a call from white's wife who said that her husband confessed to her. they have received it similar stories from other parents. anyone whose children came in contact with white is asked to call the brevard county sheriff's office. >> amy: a woman was arrested after police said she snatched a baby. >> get out of the

is there anybody else inside the vehicle? walk over to the right. stop. turn around. >> reporter: now 23-year-old stephanie augustin is accused of kidnapping that baby from fort lauderdale and abandoning the baby in orlando. troopers spotted her nissan near fort pierce the next day. she is being held on no bond. this is video of the 2 month old baby, taraji kemp being reunited with her mother. thankfully, the baby was not hurt. >> john: tonight's launch for the falcon 9 is 6:35 p.m. at cape canaveral. nasa astronaut cape canaveral is coming back after nearly a year at the international space station.

heading back out towards our big story all morning, i-95 southbound. and one southbound lane has just reopened. it was shut down for several hours after a fatal accident at i-95 and pineda causeway. i would avoid the area if you can. john young parkway to downtown orlando 5 minutes. and if you are using the 408 this morning, rouse road to downtown, just 14 minutes. >> john: 7:32 here on good day. a man accused of dressing up like batman and going on a robbing spree is set to face a judge today. >> amy: they were able to track this guy down thanks to the daring acts of at least one brave man. and jackie orozco has more.

said that the serial robber was nicknamed batman because he would wear a batman hoodie or a mask. some of the places that he would hit, dollar store, grocery stores and other place for his expensive habit. he will face a judge today. the 26-year-old is a suspect in nine armed robberies over the last month. investigators said that he drops a cellphone after trying to rob a pizza place on friday night. they were able to track him down after using his cellphone. and michael le grand said that he saw morales, and tried to chase him. morales has a heroin addiction, police say, and was using the money stolen in the robberies to buy more drug. >> he appears to be a heroin

we have a significant issue in this community with heroin addicks. this is just one way, even though we are working on the prevention, intervention side, enforcement has to be a part of the overall strategy for reducing the prevalence of heroin here in this community. >> reporter: the day mar ales was arrested, they said that their task force had made significant strides fighting the epidemic. they said that the task force made a big bust recently. arrested more than 220 people. and took off about 8 kelos, 15 pounds of heroin off the streets. morales will face a judge this morning at 9:00. >> amy: a couple who disappeared with a 3-year-old is still in jail. >> john: that story kicks off the morning rush. natasha quigley took her son zander from her home and helped her boyfriend escape from a

daytona beach. they were eventually found in kentucky last month. zander was not hurt. on monday, a judge ruled that bullic junior needs to stay in june without bond. and quick quigley's bond was set. a fire broke out yesterday afternoon in oak hill. it's under control. no property was damaged. >> john: a man was found shot to death in a publix parking lot. the 21-year-old was found dead february 6 at the store in clermont. the car was stolen the day he was shot. they found it near a park in oakland. it had been burned and covered in graffiti. there's a $5,000 award for information leading to the killer. >> john: today is the biggest day of the presidential primary

and at pineda causeway traffic has been slow. one car rolled over several times. if you can avoid i-95 southbound, that would be a good idea. a crash at u.s. 27 and lake louisa road. and if you can avoid the area, things are moving very slowly there. >> john: turtle nesting season getting under way. >> amy: a new warning. gina benitez has the details on what we need to know. hi, gina. >> reporter: these officials are warning people to put away their cellphones because of the camera flashes. the flashes can disorient or scare the turtles which can lead them going back into the water without laying any eggs.
