overnight... the results of super tuesday are all finally in... with the final votes being counted just hours ago. donald trump and hillary clinton are cementing their place at the front of the race. on the republican side-- trump won the most contests... with 7 states. ted cruz... won 3 states.. including his home state of texas. marco rubio... won minnesota... his first win in this race. minnesota was not called until midnight... it was so late--trump jumped the gun earlier in the night.. by poking fun of rubio. as for the democrats... hillary clinton swept the south... widening her lead over bernie sanders. the former secretary of state won 7 states... and sanders won 4.... including his home state of vermont. fox's caroline shively is live in washington d-c... with a more in-depth look at super tuesday. caroline.. some close calls for trump-- who nearly

father accused of shooting his son is expected to make his first court appearance today. deputies say 58 year old "gary edmonson" shot 34 year old, "gary edmonson junior", yesterday. he's in critical condition this morning. the shooting happened at their home on holly boulevard, near deland. edmonson junior tells deputies he and his dad were fighting about his mother. detectives say his dad admitted to shooting his son after the two "chest

daytona beach police make an arrest in a deadly shooting. it happened last night. officers say 27- year-old "rayshad mincey" is now in custody after turning himself in. investigators think he got into an argument with 25 year old "jarrod swinton", and shot swinton in the chest. officials say swinton died at halifax hospital. they also say the suspect got into a car and drove-off, before crashing into a concrete wall on oak street, and running away. mincey faces a first-degree murder charge. this morning - doctors are treating a toddler who fell out of a moving s-u-v. ormond beach police say it happened yesterday afternoon, on granada boulevard. they believe a woman went inside a store, and left her t3-year -old alone in her blazer. the blazer shifted into reverse-- and started moving. the child fell from the s-u-v.. and was hurt. paramedics flew the child to "halifax hospital." investigators are still looking into exactly what happened.

to 9 a.m. on f-m 102.5. in brevard county--- the fight to support l-g-b-t rights in school continues. last week-- the school board rejected a plan that would add gender identity and sexual orientation to their anti-harrasment policy. almost 100 people spoke against the new policy. according to "florida today"-- the superintendent called some of the language used in the public comments during last week's meeting "offensive" he vows to continue the discussion, and create a new plan to present to the

u-s 92 in daytona beach. the daytona beach news journal reports--the remains been sent to a university in texas for identification. the remains were found on february 18th by a surveyor working on west international speedway boulevard. deputies and florida fish and wildlife found even more bones in the days that followed. those remains were sent to the university of north texas. but because the college has a large caseload... it could take up to six months before the remains are identified. a virginia cop is laid to rest... after being shot and killed during her first day on the job. officers lined the streets yesterday--

"ashley guindon". guindon was responding to a domestic violence call last saturday-- when she was shot and killed. investigators say the suspect-- "ronald hamilton"-- faces multiple charges including capital murder. guindon graduated from "embry-riddle university" back in 20-10 .. in daytona beach. it's every student's dream... the chance to duct tape their own teacher. that dream... became a reality for students at gainesville high school. the whole thing happened at a school dance last friday. students duct taped the principal -- and a teacher-- to the wall as part of a fundraiser. all the money... going to the "children's miracle network." when all was said and done... the students collected more than 16- thousand dollars--

county jail. this story tops our morning rush. a judge gave 73 year old "thomas glidewell" a 15 thousand dollar bond, tuesday. police say he was driving on alpine lane in titusville last thursday --when he hit the boy. witnesses say he stopped, asked if he should call 911, and left, then he came back, and told police he heard a bang, but did not know he hit the boy. that boy is back at home... following his recovery. a palm bay officer is on administrative leave after shooting and killing a man. police say they got a 911 call tuesday, about a man who was threatening to shoot three people working construction next door. when officers got to his home on mariposa drive, they say he came out with a gun. an officer shot and killed the 39-year- old. he has not been

this man is waking up in jail, charged in connection with a shooting at the "florida mall." orange county deputies arrested 20 year old novell johnson, tuesday. he is charged with 3rd-degree felony murder with a firearm. investigators say back on february 5th, deputies found two gunshot victims in the j-c penney parking lot at the florida mall. both victims died. hoops action for a last night... both the gators and the magic in action. orlando... who flew to texas for a one- game road trip. orlando playing the mavericks, last night. the magic got off to a good start. they built a double digit lead in the first quarter. but dallas responded, outscoring orlando 35-27, by the end of the quarter. the mavs kept the pressure on, and won 121-108. the magic return home tonight to play the bulls. the gators hosting kentucky in gainesville. the wildcats led by as many as 14, but florida hung in there. u-f, only down four at the half. but in the second half, the wildcats ran away with it. kentucky wins, 88-79.
