morning-- orlando police are on the hunt for a suspect... after a man is shot and killed in orlando. we brought this story-- as breaking news on fox 35 at 11

it happened just before 8-30... at the "cypress pointe apartments." that is on versailles drive-- just off of orange blossom trail. this is video from 9cene. orlando police say the victim is 22- years-old... but they have not released his name. no word yet on what led to the shooting. investigators say-- they are working on getting a description of that suspect out to the public. when we get that-- we will let you know. you decide 2016-- candidates go head- to-head-- in a very heated debate in detroit. despite donald trump cementing his lead on super tuesday -- his rivals are refusing to wave the white flag. fox's joel waldman has the details from washington. slug: bc-fox-05- aehq:-gop-debate- wrap-2-3/3

republican nominee needs 1-thousand 237 delegates. trump is in the lead with 329. cruz has captured 226. rubio has 110. and kasich has 25. this weekend-- about 180 delegates are up for grabs. but march 15th is when many political experts expect this race to really narrow. both the florida and ohio primaries are winner-take-all. florida alone has 99-delegates... while ohio has 66. on the democratic side-- bernie sanders will be in florida today. he is hosting the grand-opening of his campaign head- quarters in orlando. fox 35 is your source for

latest updates on our website "fox 35 and you can also news app on your phone. a news alert now-- deputies arrest a motorcyclist.... accused of daredevil stunts-- they say-- put other drivers in danger. investigators were down.. using facebook. the lake county sheriff's office says.. christopher deputy on a motorcycle.. by driving erratically. the deputy tried to run the motorcycle's license plate -- but it was bent in a way that it couldn't be read clearly. deputies say... clark sped off... losing the deputy. investigators say... other deputies had similar run-ins with clark. it turns out.. tavares police had

license. so, the deputy dug around on social media and found posts on clarke's own facebook page. in the pictures... investigators say clarke was even wearing the same clothes he had on, the day they tried to pull him over. one facebook caption even said, "hot pursuit.". clark was arrested... and is charged with fleeing and eluding. a follow up now-- a central florida man is out of jail... after police say his niece accidently shot herself while in his care. this is video of erik williams... as he was walked out of the seminole county jail last night. he posted bond-- after his court appearance yesterday. investigators say he was babysitting 6- year-old a'letha burke tuesday night-- when she got a hold of his gun.... and accidentally killed herself. fox 35 caught up with the suspect's mother-- who says her son is innocent. williams is charged

convicted felon. he is due back in court on april 5th. in orange county-- the search for a missing baby girl is heading online. investigators are turning to social media in the search for "baby willow." the baby was born back on february 15-- in a duplex behind the "willow bend" apartment complex. police say her mother... susan richardson... told detectives she gave birth-- and then left the child on a doorstep. the baby has still not been found. now-- the "national center for missing and exploited children" is turning to facebook to generate new leads. the group is asking anyone with information to call police. a crime alert now-- a brother and sister are behind bars this morning... accused girl scout. deputies arrested nicholas delbrugge and ashley winters in deltona yesterday. investigators say the two stolen money from a 12- year-old girl... selling girl scout cookies at a walmart sunday afternoon in

suspects made-off with around 200- dollars. new this morning-- leaders in flagler county are looking to improve student safety. according to "flager live" --new technology is being created that will change the way students wait for the bus. a pad will now be placed at chosen stops-- showing students where they should stand. the idea is to get students off the road -- and put them in an area where they do not block traffic. the changes come a week after a 7-year- old was hit and killed by an s-u-v... while waiting for the bus. for the 5th time-- in two weeks-- "spacex" is looking to light up the florida skies. tonight the company will once again try to launch the falcon nine rocket. the rocket will carry a communications satellite into orbit. the launch window is set to open at 6-35 p-m. they scrubbed tuesday's launch due to high winds. the company already canceled three launches last week-- due to various problems.

north korea has missiles capable of striking the u-s. but-- even if it does-- the country is even less likely to have the ability to arm them with nuclear war-heads. the news comes-- following reports by north korean media... ... that "kim jong un" ordered his military to have the country's nuclear weapons "ready for use-- at all times." the u-s state department is issuing a "worldwide caution" to american travelers. it warns isis --and other terror groups-- are plotting new attacks. the department stresses that anyone heading to the middle east.. north africa.. europe.. or asia needs to maintain a high-level of vigilance at all times. just hours ago-- spain announced it had seized 20- thousand uniforms meant for isis militants-- suggesting a massive operation is underway. the u-s military has officially begun recruiting women for combat jobs -- previously reserved for men. the defense department says the

serving in these new roles for the army and marine corps by this fall. the navy also expects for women to join in seal training-- as soon as september. in volusia county-- big changes are coming to the handling of marijuana cases. if you are caught with the drug... it does not mean you will automatically go to jail. yesterday-- volusia county council members passed a resolution, giving deputies a choice with marijuana offenders. if someone is caught with 20 grams or less of marijuana-- deputies can give then a 100-dollar fine-- instead of jail time. council members say opinions about marijuana have changed-- and there is no need to clog the court system the new rules on pot will apply in un-

astronaut scott kelly is expected to speak today... for the first time since returning from space. today-- kelly is scheduled to hold his first news conference since returning from his 340-day mission at the international space station. kelly landed in kazakhstan on tuesday... before making it to houston, texas yesterday morning. the trial is set for the former security guard-- accused of murdering a woman in downtown orlando. that story kicks off the morning rush. an orange county judge set stephen duxbury's murder trial for october 10th. last month-- a grand jury indicted him on charges of first- degree murder.. attempted sexual battery.. and burglary. he is accused of murdering 27-year- old sasha samsudean last october. duxbury was a security guard at the "uptown place apartments" where the victim lived. osceola county deputies need your help identifying a

robbing a mini-golf course. last sunday-- deputies say this man -- walked up to the window of the "congo river golf course"-- on irlo bronson highway. he slipped a note to the employees--- demanding money. he took-off with cash... but no one was hurt. if you recognize him... call the sheriff's office. an assistant professor at u-c-f is getting his chance to save the world. chance to walk a mile in women's shoes -- literally. people could be seen wearing ladies high heels in downtown orlando last night. it is all part of the 4th annual "walk a mile in her shoes"-- raising awareness for domestic violence. in tallahassee-- the state senate is giving final approval to a bill-- that would make changes to florida's death- penalty. the bill stems from a u-s supreme court ruling-- that florida's current system is unconstitutional. the ruling cited that judges-- not juries-- were making the final decision on life or death. under the new bill-- at least 10 of 12 jurors will have to recommend the death penalty. it now heads to the
