8:46 am
i do see rain, possibly thunderstorms coming tomorrow. sunday, monday. best chance will be sunday. many and also on sunday we spring forward. remember that one hour. we lose an hour of daylight in the morning. we gain an hour of daylight in the evening. the winds, that's been a big story the last couple days, gusty winds out of the atlantic ocean. we're going to continue with southeast winds but not as strong as they have been the last couple days. right now five to ten miles an hour. temperature wise, there we are, 72 in the villages, 70 in palm coast. you look around the southeast and into the great plain states there is no arctic air. there is no canadian air. there is no snow anywhere. it's 61 in dc. 57 in nashville. so even though we do see a system that's going to come through, we don't see a cooldown. and that system right now is dropping copious amounts of rain across the lower mississippi
8:47 am
for us that system is going to move off to the north, so our rain chances very small as we go through the weekend. here is the forecast. today we say partly cloudy, dry, and warm with the southeast winds. tomorrow the rain still stays, the bulk of it stays in the gulf of mexico. slight chance of a shower tomorrow. best chance of rain here on sunday afternoon. we're keeping an eye to the sky, 50% chance of rain, but not a washout. here is your forecast. 87 degrees today. 84 and 85 degrees saturday and sunday with good chance of rain sunday but not a washout. and then we dry out and stay warm all next week. weather baby time, who do we have this morning? we got corbin. corbin is hanging out with a good smile. love those eyes. corbin just made our day. you love him, amy? >> amy: yes, adorable.
