forced senator marco rubio out. and strump leading in -- trump has been leading in mississippi. john kasich has won in the state of ohio. his first and only victory of the primary season. on the democratic side, it appears that hillary clinton will be winning in missouri. clinton is up 1700 votes and is claiming victory. tuesday was a significant setback for bernie sanders. many thought he could win illinois, and maybe ohio. he didn't win either one. arizona. >> phoenix, are you ared for a political revolution are you tired of a handful of billionaires running our economy? if you are you have come to the right place.

>> reporter: certainly no lack of enthusiasm from his crowds. the delegate math doesn't look good for sandsers. the next round, three states are in play next tuesday. >> john: frank torres, political analyst joins us. we spoke with senator marco rubio yesterday on "good day orlando." we asked what he would do if he lost florida. >> we are going to utah either way. the difference, of course, is is that i would much rather go to utah the winner of the florida primary with all of the momentum and 99 delegates than someone who didn't win, but we're going to utah nonetheless. >> john: that's just a few hours after he said he was getting out. >> standard operating procedure, you are never getting out until you are getting out. there was no path to the 1200 delegates.

he only won a handful of states and a . . clear number three in what should be a two-man race in order to try to beat donald trump. >> john: obviously here in florida he had has has a lot of supporters. >> the biggest challenge he might face could be the very@ party he is trying to secure the nomination from.@ there are still a lot of people that don't want donald trump as republican nominee. and there's still no confidence@ in donald trump that he can win the nomination and go on to win the general election in november. if you can't win the general election in november, they're not interested. >> the governor had a big night. do you think he's staying in. in case it's a brokered election

the house was once own by al neuharth who founded usa today and florida today. al died three years ago. the 10,000 square foot home was built in 1975. 11 bedrooms and 12 baths. the property recently sold for $5 million. the most of paid for a house in brevard county. hundreds of people lined the history burn down. >> it's very sad. i used to walk by here every day when i lived on 2nd street. i walked the beach every day and walked by here. >> amy: they said no one was hurt in the fire. >> john: gunmen burst into a home injuring a homeowner and killing his dog. >> amy: the cambridge apartments around midnight last night. fox 35's holly bristow has the

>> reporter: there's still one patrol car left here. about two hours ago there were about a dozen patrol cars here and officers looking into the apartment. there was a home invasion robbery and the victim's dog was shot and killed. and cambridge apartments off conway. and two unknown suspected force their way into the apartment and robbed the victim at gun point been the suspect shot and killed the victim's dog and the victim's car. the victim sustained injuries. we're told he was pistol whipped before the suspects left. he has head injuries. this is what folks who live here had to say about this. >> i was getting ready to go to work early today and saw eight police officer cars here, yeah, good. >> reporter: 479mfe on the back of the license.

contact the police department. morning. the president has made his decision on who he will nominate to the u.s. supreme court. the white house said that they'll make the announcement at 11:00 a.m. in the rose garden. there's been a vacancy since the death of justice antonin scalia. senate republicans say they won't even consider a nominee during the election year. they want the next president to make the choice on who will replace scalia. >> john: homeless families will soon have a place to sleep in volusia county. they are working on a plan to convert a vacant elementary school. the district voted last night to partner with the county to convert hurst into the shelter. right now they only use a

enough room for 300 parent, kids, and medical clinic and classes for adults where they can build resumes. the district estimates 2300 homeless students are in the county. and in volusia county students need to wait a bit longer to find out what they'll be wearing to school. >> amy: uniforms would include matching polo shirts, khakis, and closed toed shoes. they are expected to discuss this further at the end of march. >> john: tax dollars will build the downtown ucf campus. >> amy: how some said that it'll change life. >> destroyed my life, my core, and my future career. >> john: no spring break for local law enforcement. the police are out trying to keep the beaches safe.

welcome back top "good day orlando." a live view looking down international drive this morning. the fog is definitely thickening up in that part of town. we're having fog issues this morning, so keep that in mind before you head out the door on this fine wednesday. >> amy: ucf will be getting tax dollars to build the downtown campus. >> john: a big deal. the governor approved 20e million dollars for the project. the pro-vote of ucf said that the campus will have a big impact. >> it'll change the lives of our students and the way they learn but it'll also change the neighborhoods and create economic impact and energy downtown. >> john: gathering $16 million in donations and putting in $20 million of its own money. the campus is set to open last next year.

saturday. here's what happens now. front number one comes in, scattered showers and no big deal. not what you want to see as we look forward to weekend plans and activities outdoors. along the boundary, we develop low pressure over the central gulf of mexico. the wave rides along the front and scoots into central florida. that's where we call the higher rain chance on saturday, 50%. we will adjust high or low on the chance if we need. scattered storms. behind the front number two, big time cool down sunday, monday, and tuesday. around 70 for the high on monday. lows closer to 50 degrees. >> kristin: good morning. i want you to start off right now looking at maitland boulevard. we have a crash on i-4 westbound

it's 7:25. st. patrick's day spending is supposed to be down this year. >> amy: a lot of people are getting netflix and not paying for it as well. luanne sorrell has the business headlines. >> reporter: a survey found that 31% of americans who have netflix are not paying for it. and young people are the biggest offender. 69% of people from 13 to 17 years old mooch off of someone else's account. 13% of 18 to 24 year olds are moochers. and it's estimated that the streaming video industry loses $500,000 a year to mooching. some call it mooching and others call it stealing. and here in central florida, legoland is expanding. details on five new projects.

>> he's desk stated. it's very upsetting -- he's devastated. we're trying to get some answers. >> reporter: what time did the fire start last night, and share with us some of the challenges that the members had to deal with. >> the launch time was 8:36. and they said it was earlier. and heavy fire and flames were found coming from the house. obviously, it's a challenge. the size of house. it's 10,000 square feet. getting the firefighters deployed and water supply out here was very difficult. help -- with help, and apparatus, and people, we were able to get enough water to contain the fire to the house and eventually extinguish it. >> reporter: the images are astounding. some said it looked like it was taken out of a movie script.

i could see the fire from merritt island. i knew it was a serious fire. we were trying to get resources moving, people, and page, all different things in advance before we got here. and it was a challenge in a lot of ways. we're just happy no one was hurt. it first light we can do our investigation. >> reporter: any sort of hunch or lead with regard to what may have started the house fire? >> no hunch or lead. we are always suspect when a house is unoccupied. it's under construction, they were doing some work, and we have no reason to believeff?^ it started the fire, but we're going to move in and see if we can determine what happened with the fire marshal. >> reporter: you said you were concerned about the winds. were there concerns for the homes near by.

the search is on for a group of home invasion suspects who t-boned a car and took off. >> amy: we brought this to you as breaking news yesterday. >> reporter: troopers said that a group of five to six men raided a home in ocoee, beat, pistol whipped and tied up the people inside. they slammed into a car at good homes. the suspects took off on foot. the innocent drivers were taken to the hospital but they are expected to cover. they are reviewing evidence from the suspect's getaway vehicle win they left behind. could do you recognize this man? is a accused of hitting a man in the head. it happened last wednesday. the victim confronted the suspect after the suspect groped

you just drove in daytona recently? >> this is 95% the car that we race every week. pretty cool. it was a race car a year ago. we convert it to a two seater car. we actually use it for show events like this. we take people around and do laps at events. >> reporter: how fast can you get this one going? >> 600-horsepower, and 200-mile diesel, no problem. >> reporter: do you like sneak up on people or one of the favorites? >> i have been on both ends. obviously, we have a bit of pressure. a local car, and florida sponsorship. we are going in as one of the favorites. we had a good run at daytona. but 12 hours sebring is a different animal. we have a lot of guests coming from visit florida. we hope to get the corvette up front. >> reporter: you look back five or six years ago, do you
