this is getting to be a lengthedy stand off, five hours old and, it is happening in a home of grenada boulevard. it started as an armed robbery in datona beach, and moved to a home in ormond beach. now grenada boulevard is closed, busy there and officers say anyone traveling to work or around there could take beach street, as we said we have a crew on the way and we'll give you more details as we have them. certainly it has been five hours, and if you can avoid that area it would be a good idea. back to the studio. >> john: traffic alert today. a ramp in the heart of downtown orlando closed for three years. >> luanne: one ramp along i-4 west shut down overnight for the i-4 ultimate project. we're talking about the on ramp that gets you out of downtown orlando to head west on state road 408. fox 35's andrea jackson is live this morning with more on the new ramp.

long time to get it completed. >> good morning to you, they say it is a short-term. but i consider three years a long term. i'll call it a long term closure. it has been set up off of division street where you can access the westbound 408 on ramp from division street at anderson street and has been moved and you can no longer access it from orange avenue, the dpeert is down to here. relocating the ramp here, crews working on the i-4 and 408 interchange. which you know is in desperate need of a remodel. you need to use south street, to access the detour. the new ramp on division avenue and the temporary ramp, one of the first major changes for 408 commuters. so get ready for it. put your seatbelt on, a long and bumpy ride. the detour in effect for three years. the ramp from westbound 408 and orange avenue should reopen by

jackson. fox 35 news. >> john: a heartbroken community helping out a local family after a teenager dies in a house fire. 17-year-old trevor ross loved animals, photography and volunteered in the community. you are seeing pictures of him taken by one of his close friends. the fire broke out on wednesday night on west minneola spreet and ridge crest drive. crews arrived and found the house fully engulfed and wend inside and found ross near the front door of the home. the only one inside when the fire broke out. the community now organizing efforts to help out the family. >> the community has been wonderful so far. and, pouring out donations of clothing, food, monetary gift cards. and the businesses are stepping up and asking what they can do as well to help. so we're just trying to keep that going. >> we're told the family is

a donation drive will be held tomorrow at city hall from 8:00 to 5:00. health alert now. researchers say orlando is among the top u.s. cities most at risk of a zika outbreak. look at the management. it is from the national center for atmospheric research. now, orlando is one of the biggest hot zones in the country. when it comes to the potential of the zika outbreak. it is one of 50 cities expected to have a warmer than normal summer and researchers say that makes orlando the perfect breeding ground for mosquitoes that carry zika. the map also takes into account the number of international travellers expected to travel to those cities over the summer. and, this news comes as four new zika cases were announced here in the sunshine state. officials say they discovered one case in brevard county and three others in alachua county. there are now 66 confirmed cases of zika in florida. on the business watch, sea world's decision to stop breeding killer whales is already paying off.

went up 10% yesterday, hours after they made the announcement. besides ending the breeding, sea world entertainment announced they'll phase out the theatrical shows at the park and says the changes could increase attendance by 1 million vez tors and would generate an extra $80 million in revenue over the next five years. sea world announced they are abandoning their $300 million blue world orca habitat project. >> because you'll see them in the e natural habitat. >> it is sad the next generation won't be able to see the orcas. like we got to see them at sea world when i was a kid. >> there are currently 29 orcas at sea world's three parks, one of which is pregnant.

out when we get the chance to? >> we want our favorite foods, we all do. and we talked about how you have the sweet tooth and i have the favorite foote and you don't want to give those things up but there are ways to make those things healthier. decrease the calories while still getting to eat the foods we love. sour cream. in place of sour cream, i like to do nonfat plain greek yogurt. i do this with kids, taste tests with them in the classroom and they can mott tell this difference -- cannot tell the difference, it cuts the calories and fat in half. >> the same texture. my kids will not eat sour cream but would eat the yogurt. the healthier option. >> on top of tacos and soups, >> luanne: i didn't know croutons are bad for us. are they awful? >> they are not awful. they are high in refined carbohydrates. and, so instead of the croutons

downtown orlando, now closed for the next three years. this is the on ramp that gets you out of orlando to head west on 408. the shutdown is part of the i-4 ultimate project. the 408 westbound entrance ramp from orange avenue is relocated to dwigs division avenue and is one of the first major changes for 408 commuters. >> luanne: the governor signed an $82 billion state budget into law but did get out his veto pen, dozens of items were killed including money for roads, culture projects, health care, and law enforcement programs. but, this year's vetoes are less than half of what he eliminate last year. the ucf downtown campus was one of the things that survived the veto pen. and will get $20 million in state funding for the downtown project but the school cannot access the money until it raises $20 million of its own donations.
