keith landry is at the orange county sheriff's office with the latest. >> keith: detectives interviewed the suspect here at the orange county sheriff's office and then hauled him off to jail. that suspect will be charged with attempted murder. tonight emergency medical supplies marked the spot where a man was hit by a stray bullet this afternoon. it happened while he was taking down a fence. separating the magnolia court apartments from a playground at a daycare center next door. here's orange county sheriff's spokeswoman. >> our deputies immediately managed to take into custody the man who was responsible for firing the gun and hitting the innocent bystander. >> detectives say 21-year-old jakell ward shot the victim in the shoulder during a fight with his girlfriend. they were arguing inside his apartment, and when she went to her car to leave, detectives say ward fired shots that missed her. one of the bullets struck the worker. he was rushed to florida hospital south in orlando, where he underwent surgery this afternoon.

neighborhood didn't want to talk to us on camera tonight. one person told us off camera that she heard two shots. at last check, the victim, who was in his thirties, was in grave condition. in orange county, keith landry, fox 35 news. >> we're following breaking news right now out of volusia county where a mother list died after hitting a tree. this happened on town west boulevard in port orange. it's still unclear what caused the crash. a teen couple is facing charges tonight after the murder of a 15-year-old boy from ocoee. 17-year-old michael anderson is facing second-degree murder charges and his girlfriend pictured here, 18-year-old lindsay is charged with tampering with evidence. 15-year-old and the wasn't dave dave -- antwan davis was found dead in ocoee with a gunshot wound to the head. orange county sheriff's deputies say davis was killed during a drug deal.

antwan davis back but we hope this news will bring a measure of comfort to his family as they prepare for his funeral. >> the sheriff's office says they were able to make the arrest fast thanks to the community stepping forward with tips. >> new tonight, a community coming together to help a family from lake county who lost their loved one in a fire. a 17-year-old boy from lake minneola high school was killed two nights ago. tracy jacim with more on how you can help. >> tracy: city manager mark johnson is stacking up some of the items dropped off here at city hall to help a family going through the truly unimaginable, a fire consumed their home wednesday night and 17-year-old trevor ross died. the vice mayor is happy to help, happy to be able to do something. >> what really gets me is the fact that it does mention here, feel better.

as you can see the words are not spelled correctly and i think that is the most touching thing ever. >> feel better spelled with the sincere emotion of a young child. there's so much more. these two cases filled with dry cleaned dress clothes, food, blankets, gift cards, money. >> minneola is a small town but it has a huge spirit. a lot of stories coming out of the this tragedy, like this bag. a bag of pennies, some bills, brought here by a young boy who apparently emptied out his entire pig i bank to donate to this family. >> when a kid comes out and takes his time out and gives what he can, that's what really makes it super special. >> city officials tell us that trevor had gone to bed early, the rest of his family out, when something sparked a fire that spread very quickly, consuming century old wood. it was an older home. the family of six rented it. fire officials done with their investigation but will never know the cause.

also developing right now, investigators looking into what caused a deadly plane crash in one of tampa's most exclusive areas. two people were killed when the aircraft went down at an airport on davis island. the latest from our tampa newsroom. >> reporter: this neighbor was so shaken, she couldn't bear to show her face. >> it shook my windows in my house, and my doors, and i could feel the earth shaking. >> across the street, a few hundred feet inside the fence, was this. >> i came flying out the door because, you know, my next thought was, it's a plane. >> indeed, it was. and there was nothing to do but call 9-1-1 and wait. >> it was pretty obvious that there was probably nobody -- i mean, there was no movement. we kept hearing all these pops, pop, pop, pop. >> firefighters say the fire was so intense that the pilot and passenger couldn't be identified right away. >> it absolutely hurts. it's sad. especially being so close to

thinking how easy it could happen. >> but how? all investigators say is that it happened during takeoff. they wouldn't rule out that there could be a second plane involved but didn't say why or how. >> we don't know. it's under investigation. we do not know the circumstances on how that airplane came to be where it is. it's all part of the investigation. as all of you folks have heard stories, that's all we've heard at this time. >> the scene stunned a passerby. it brought back memories of the 2006 crash of a plane into a nearby home that killed one and injured another. they happen infrequently but when they do, no one forgets. >> i feel sick. i feel utterly sick. two people died. >> fox 35 news. >> trending around the world tonight, police arrest the prime suspect in last year's deadly terror attacks in paris. police say he played a major role in that november rampage

investigators found fingerprints belonging to him at the scene of an apartment raid in brussels on tuesday. today they finally found him. he was shot in the leg during the raid. policeman to question him about the terror network in that part of europe. five people injured after a balcony collapses in downtown oklahoma city. police say four people were on the balcony at the time of the collapse. one person on the ground also suffered minor injuries. the four on the balcony and the one person on the ground all had to be taken to a hospital for treatment. the cause of the collapse, still under investigation. >> glenn: forecast right now in central florida, stormy, as we go through the upcoming weekend. not severe weather but definitely rain. earlier this evening we had rain at daytona, port orange. that has ended and moved offshore to the west. a large swath of showers and thunderstorms. you kind of get the idea. this is coming towards us here. we'll get a few little sprinkles overnight, not expecting

i know it looks more ominous than that but this is overdone just a little bit with the colors. but you kind of get the idea that we'll just get a few sprinkles tonight, definitely the better chance of rain during the day tomorrow. our brand new updated computer model indicating now anywhere from about half an inch to nearly an inch of rain for a good chunk of the area. you see the little stripes of green indicating that there will be heavier cells during the day tomorrow with rain, and a few thunderstorms mixed in. not expecting severe weather right now. we just don't have the heat energy to do it. we also don't have the right enough dry air immediately behind the front to really wrap these storms up and produce large hailstones or to produce like that. wet. it will be cloudy and there will be some showers around. 73 degrees in sanford right now. 70 in the villages. our winds currently have eased up, light to calm, whatever wind we do have coming out of the north and northwest right down. downtown at 75 degrees. a good-looking evening towards

as you just saw. 86 degrees our high temperature for today. 78 degrees, that goes the normal high. we continue to be way above normal. tomorrow will be a little cooler. then we'll go down a little bit more as we get into sunday behind the front. for tomorrow a few showers first thing in the morning possible. real light, though. 7:00, 8:00, maybe 9:00 a.m. then we'll go dry. and then late afternoon and evening, that's when the main area of showers and storms will be blowing through. and then on sunday some showers in the morning, then the skies clear out. so you kind of see the action out to the west right here. here's a little wider perspective. there's our stalled front. here's the action that is currently blowing up right now in the northeastern gulf. it is moving away from the area of low pressure so it will be weakening. it will still produce at least a few light showers in the morning. then as we head towards 2:00, 3:00 tomorrow afternoon, here it comes. gainesville, ocala, a few scattered showers in orlando but heavy stuff to the west.

blowing through with some gusty winds, heavy downpours at 6:00 tomorrow morning, hitting brevard county pretty good. then 8:00 tomorrow evening, everything begins to move offshore. then on sunday you just saw in the morning, just a few little light showers coming through, nothing more than that. then the skies begin to clear. then the cooler weather starts to move back in. 82 for tomorrow. sunday's high, only 73. look at all that sunshine there next week, with temperatures starting out in the upper 60s. >> we have unfortunately a sad update to a story we first brought you last night at 11:00. baltimore ravens quarterback tray walker has died following injuries in a crash in miami. walker is from south florida where he attended high school. he was just 23 years old. a busy weekend ahead on the linx, perfect conditions and good scoring. adam shadoff is there. >> adam: they say it's always tough to back up one really good
