commercials from last night's super bowl. good morning from the studio 57 newsroom at cbs news headquarters in new york. good to be with you. i'm anne-marie green. well, for the third time in the franchise's 66-year history, the denver broncos are super bowl champions. a game that was billed as a matchup of two of the best's quarterbacks turned into an offensive struggle. peyton manning and cam newton spent much of super bowl 50 pulling themselves off the turf. in the end denver's defense carried the team to a 24-10 victory over carolina but when the big question when the confetti started flying was is this peyton manning's last game?

here, they say it was peyton manning's swan song. he has been plaguing with injuries all year and a chance for him to go to you on top but he isn't saying just yet. >> i got a lot of advice from tony dungy when i was with indianapolis. this has been an emotionally week and an emotional night. i a couple of priorities in order. i want to go kiss my wife, kiss my kids and i want to celebrate with my family and teammates and i'm going to drink a lot of beer tonight, jim. >> reporter: among questioned reporters, peyton manning remained uncommitted to retiring. by coming out in super bowl 50, he become the first quarterback in nfl history to win two super bowls with two different teams. but manning was not the star of the game. the broncos defense was in cam newton's face all night, sacking him seven times to tie a super bowl record. the defense also scored on a fumble recovery in the first quarter to give denver an early ten-point lead.
