american people lose big league. >> mark: the latest cbs news poll shows clinton leading trump by 4 points nationally. she is visiting three states today. >> vote for yourselves. vote for your families. vote for your futures. vote on the issues that matter to you. they are on the ballot. >> romona: good news over the weekend for the clinton campaign. the f.b.i. director announced the bureau will not recommend charges related discovered e-mails. >> mark: there were long lines at the board of elections today for early voting. i drove by there today. it is true. it is over now. overall turn out is down from previous years. cuyahoga county 38,000 compared to 45,000 and 50,000 in 2008. >> romona: every vote may count. in the end, the president will be chosen based on the electoral college. dan deroos is in the answer center to explain how this

civics lesson. this is not just about the popular vote. at the end of the night you will look at the number of votes each candidate has gotten. it is possible that someone will receive more votes but won't win the election. how is that possible? i always like to use california as an example. here is california. they have it colored blue. hillary clinton will win california. it is a california state. see that number that's the number of electoral v whoever wins the contest in california pick up 55 votes in the electoral college. let's look at ohio. ohio is worth 18. why are we worth so few? not as many as california, it is population-based and much more population in california than ohio and that's why they dole out electoral college votes. obviously, it is whoever can get to 270. which candidate can win enough state and electoral college

here is how real clear politics has it broken down. if you were to take the likely clinton states and all the leaning clinton states she is at 203 at this point electoral college. we are using polls here to take a look. trump-pence, trump has 164. so where do we go from here? you have to go to the toss-upstates 171 electoral college votes. you have to get to 270. look at the list. there are major toss upstates with electoral toss up votes florida, ohio, michigan, pennsylvania at 20 that are sort of too close to call headed into election day. it is going to be an interesting night to watch. how many electoral college who can get to the 270 number first not just who wins the popular and majority votes. getting answers in the answer center, romona to you. >> romona: no issues as

down in florida. to be sure, we talked by phone with a dade county election worker. >> i don't have any record with that person here. >> reporter: no lebron james? >> no. >> reporter: turns out he did voted absentee in summit county mailed to lebron's handler randy mims. for whatever reason the elections board didn't receive lebron's completed ballot until three weeks after the november election. >> we have to get out and make sure we vote. count. as lebron learned only when you beat the buzzer. >> it's gone. lebron james at the buzzer! and get it in on time. getting answers carl monday cleveland 19. >> romona: the parma school district recently submitted a plan to balance the budget. now it is depending on a school tax renewal to avoid more drastic cuts. >> if that goes away that's, you know, i don't know what the future will hold.

the coast guard and other crews are searching lake erie near fairport harbor. 55-year-old roger burton from appear lines has been missing since yesterday afternoon. the coast guard sent this picture here. a bolt capsized and crews managed to rescue one man who was clinging to the hull. despite searches by air and water, still no sign of burton. >> romona: radio personality j.g. spooner pleaded guilty today to theft and money laundering. spooner was indicted earli gofundme account for a woman who had cystic fibrosis. the former 92.3 the fan host deposited over $7,000 in his personal account from a gofundme. >> spooner will be sentenced next month. a brooklyn man pleaded guilty to murdering his 18-year-old girlfriend. michael lancaster shot and killed olivia stool in february and he will be sentenced in february.
