deliberate this morning. after they couldn't reach a verdict friday on either charge. tony to cobo has more. >>reporter: hours after a jury failed to say guilty or innocent in the murder trial of a white police officer, protesters poured into the street. it all started with a traffic stop to the university of cincinnati last summer and escalated into what everyone could see was a fatal shooting. but was it murder? on saturday a dozen jurors 10 white and tentlike were murdered after the deliberation to say they just couldn't agree. judge megan shanahan. >>woman: due to the inability to reach a verdict i declare this case a mistrial. >>reporter: ray tensing walked free today for prosecutor joe dede are has until november 20 to decide on a retrial. >>man: i think people need to recognize how much effort went into this case. and hope that everybody.
